Now I'm hoping everyone but me hasn't dropped out. This group is sometimes the only thing that prevents some serious eating after supper. Last night - day 5 - was good.
-
Day 4 - made it. This thread is really getting small. Hope the few people who are posting don't drop out.
-
jafray4 - you made some good points. Who said this was going to be easy? I did get through day 3 last night and decided to eat healthier food in general. Unfortunately, there's a lot of room between deciding and doing. I exercised the last two days, but was in and out (mostly out) too much today to do it. We're going out…

I managed to get through day 2. So many days to go, but I'm taking it one day at a time.
-
Gregory - thanks so much for the encouraging words. The group seems to be down to a few posters, but there's good support here. I started over last night. The wagon seems to go faster and it's harder to climb back on after you've fallen off. So I had a lot of cravings last night, but I made it - day 1 of my restart.

Our postings are shrinking. Glad you're doing so well while vacationing, Gregory. Eating out is my stumbling block when we go out of town. The 13th day was unlucky for me. I snacked most of last night and felt awful this morning. So far I've made it 21 days, and now 12. I hope I'll make it to 21 days and longer the next…

Day 12 was good. Where is BoBo?
-
I'm in awe of those who were exposed to ice cream but didn't have any. I don't think that's ever happened to me. I just can't keep calorie laden sweets around the house. And my kids are grown and gone, so no temptation there. Last night was day 11 for me. I felt like having a snack tonight but have resisted so far.
-
Last night was day 10. Nice to have you back, Gregory.
-
Day 9 went well! We had dessert tonight, which means lots of calories. But I'm too full to snack, so there is a silver lining in this cloud.
-
Day 8 was good! I still get the munchies at night but am having more success at controlling night time eating than ever before.
-
Yea - so far I've been good for a week! It's gotten easier to limit nighttime snacking, since it's hard to figure out how many calories I'm eating during the day.
-
Shred85 - It is nice to feel in control of some part of your eating, although I can slip at night too. Most of time I do OK since I joined this group. Last night was Day 6.
-
I'm partway there - day 5 (last night) was good. I don't know if I'm losing weight, since I'm probably eating too much during the day. But it's great to be in charge of my night time eating.
-
Last night, day 4, was OK. Today I felt like snacking since after breakfast! It seems to be better now, and it's almost bedtime.
-
Hi Jen, Feel free to add me too. I'm a night owl too and frequently have hard days and nights. This is one of those nights, so I was glad to see your post.
-
I got through Day 3 last night. Tonight was touchy, but I'm going to bed now - a great eating stopper.
-
Last night was good - even though I felt like eating and thought about food most of the night. I must have to be counting days to be successful. Last night was Day 2.
-
I was OK last night, so I can count Day 1 as completed. Tonight is going OK, although I'm thinking about food a lot.
-
After a successful 21 days, I fell off the wagon last night. I'm going to start over, counting this evening as day 1. Thanks for all the kind messages. This group helped me control nighttime eating for longer than I ever have; it was well worth it.
-
I made it last night - 21 days accomplished! Tonight is difficult, so I don't think I've developed a new habit. I'll be struggling with this problem for a long time, but this group showed me I can control my eating.
-
I did OK last night - a good book helped. I started on a Sunday, so I think tonight is the 21st night. In case I'm wrong, I'm gong to assume It's a few days away. That will be a good way to make sure I continue. I'll keep logging in, since the accountability is keeping me honest.
-
I almost fell off last night, after all this time. So I can't get complacent about making it. Gxmiller, thanks for your words of wisdom; they are right on! I don't know what will happen after day 21, but I hope I continue limiting the snacking.
-
Made it last night - tonight is difficult.
-
Last night was a struggle due to early dinner, but I made it. Gxmiller said it - why waste all those days now. Tonight I am full from dinner so it is fairly easy.
-
I got through a difficult night last night - another early supper and therefore long night. I'm also working on daytime eating, since I've been eating more then. It's disgusting to gain weight after you've worked so hard to lose it. Jafray - I wholeheartedly agree with your plan. That's what I'm doing too - planned and…
-
Made it through last night without any problem. Some days are easy; some are very difficult.
-
I got through last night. Hubby was at a meeting out of town tonight, so I ate 2-3 hours earlier than usual. The evening is long.
-
I'm so glad we have this group for support, since I'm having strong cravings tonight. There nothing much to snack on, so I'm not hungry for anything in particular - just feel like eating. I was hoping I'd developed the habit earlier than 21 days, but no such luck. Thanks, everyone, for your support and contributions and…

I was OK with after dinner snacking last night but feel less positive since the scale showed a four pound gain today! I usually only weigh once a week, but I'm going to keep weighing in the morning in hopes the four pounds is a fluke, or water weight, or something. Success is very motivating to me; failure to lose weight,…
