Hi all, I'd love more friends losing the same amounts of weight as me, especially those with open diaries! I'm about 3 months into my journey, I've lost 20 pounds so far and have another 90 more until I just scrape into a healthy weight range, at that point I'll reassess my goals and see if I want to lose more.

I struggle with this too. I now save a big portion of my cals for night time, but I also make a huge salad, like 5 litre mixing bowl sized. Lots of low cal veggies plus some yummy add ins like mango or nuts plus a dressing. It can take me an hour to eat mindlessly while watching tv, it's replaced my huge popcorn or family…

I drop 2 to 3 pounds a day or two before my period starts. Then the first three days i am ravenously hungry and crave carbs so bad. I try to stick to maintenance those days but usually go over. I go under other days though to compensate for it.

Aussies use cups in recipes too, ours are 250mls. We don't use fluid ounces so online recipes can get tricky. I generally look for ones that use grams and mls.

I make them up for the kids 4 days worth at a time, they last just fine.

I highly reccomend the GD forums on baby center. Your dr gave you a diagnosis, so they have you testing your blood sugars? Is there any monitoring, are you on insulin and have they given you a carb allowance? If none of this is in place this seems extremely irresponsible! Are you having extra growth scans, have they spoken…

I'm in! Not sure of my exact starting weight, I've been weighed on 3 different scales in the last three weeks and there was a 9 kilos difference between them. I've ordered some scales online, I'll use my first weight on those as my starting weight.
