On a mission to lose 50kg 110lbs since march last year. I started at 115kg 253.5 lbs bmi 42.8 Hoping to lose the 6.8 kg 15lbs by the end of the challenge period but honestly will be happy even with half that just to break my plateau. My goal is to aim for sticking to my calorie allowance, and get 10k steps per day. Nov 1…

Hello, I'm a little late but would love to join! I've lost 27.5 kg 60.6lbs since march last year by making small changes and trying to learn to eat intuitively but I've plateaued the last few months so thought I would give calorie counting a go again. I have another 22.5 kg 49.6lbs to go all up Hoping to lose the 6.8 kg…

I'd love to do a step challenge with you also. 10000 is my daily goal too, but I can have trouble reaching it, I'd love a little extra motivation!

Cutting way down on animal products and losing weight is what worked for me. I mostly avoid oil as a fat source too as I prefer to have bulk with my calories like Avocado or Peanut butter

If you don't want to overcomplicate it you can also just add more veg to whatever you were going to eat anyway. I aim for 50% of my plate to be veggies with every meal. (Fruit if you like a sweet breakfast) I eat lots of legumes too, so tasty and filling and cheap. Switch to wholegrain versions of pastas and bread. So…

This has not been the case for me at all. I lost over 50 lbs and barely changed my dress size or waist measurement. Then my weight loss plateaued for about 5 months but I went down 2 dress sizes 🤷♀️

Thanks for the great advice and encouragement! Im not looking to lose weight fast this time, just to lose it without losing my mind and then keep it off. I think the generous calorie allowance (1800) and not setting and crazy food rules on myself will help me make it stick this time. I like the idea of just getting used to…

The cals for me at maitenence with a light activity level are the same as losing a pound a week at my current weight and sedentary lifestyle so I think I should be right there. I have health issues preventing me being very active at the moment but hope to heal that through and while losing my extra 50kgs.

While animal foods do contain b12 they don't make it themselves. They used to get it from the soil like us, it's a soil borne bacteria. Most animals are now given b12 supplements due to us destroying our soil.

I've had a bowl of blood orange and kiwi fruit the last 3 days in a row. The blood oranges are from the next state over though they've gone up in price now so that's probably the end of those unfortunately. I didn't realise when I bought them that my kiwis are from NZ so I'll be making sure the next lot are Aussie. Also…
