As most of my exercise comes from swimming I am interested in a device which would accurately monitor my progress in water. Not sure if the Flex is up to this though. It says it is water resistant so it would be good to know definitively.

I think for me, it would be because it can be confusing to know what constitutes a "portion" and what does not. So if you were entering the correct amounts as part of a recipe you should get a more realistic account of how many portions of fruit and veg you have consumed. Whilst we're talking about annoying people I do work with someone who talks about dieting virtually non-stop, has a really unhealthy, faddy diet (zero carbs but bakes cakes virtually every day) and is generally a nuisance. She saw my sport's bag and started asking questions. I'm saying nothing!

I don't tell anyone, I can't bear the scrutiny! For years I never weighed myself as I am so sensitive about my weight, so starting this is a big move forward for me. I don't think I could bear other people looking at me and working out whether I need to lose weight :-o
