This is actually just a joke set up. I'll bite. HOW DO YOU EAT THAT MANY CALORIES? /waits for it

This stuck out to me. 1. I would wager you're putting on muscle weight which is good weight! So try to not worry too much about the scale. 2. Try to celebrate that victory. Running a whole mile straight! That is awesome! Try to keep in mind things you can do now physically that you couldn't before and celebrate your…

I would add chocolate milk because ... chocolate milk! Or add in healthy foods with more calories, more meats, etc. ? Also, what 2nd poster said.

I'd go!

I started out on the elliptical. I could only do like 15 minutes max on level 1 at first, but it was a good start. Also, throw in some weights! Your man can spot you.

At first I was a little sad to see people so concerned over being their current size when they already accomplished great things and looked amazing, but then I had to remind myself that's not really what this site is for. Still, would be nice to see people celebrating their awesomeness more, no? Those threads make me happy…

You should do whichever one you prefer because you're more likely to actually do it.

I love that stuff, too. One thing I try to do is to compromise. Like if I want a peice of chocolate, I have to eat a banana first and then I can have the chocolate if I still want it. Or drink a glass of water, etc. Might help keep the junk in moderation a bit more? If you're so inclined.

Are you at a place your body wants to be? It seems like when you hit a natural plateau, it is impossible to bust through.
-
Everyone wears weight differently, but it sounds like a good goal to me. You might even find yourself happy higher than that - just assess it when you get closer to your goal.

When I'm getting into a good groove and someone with horribad B.O. gets on the machine next to me. Ahh! You couldn't have picked one away from people, stinky?

I end with cario. I was told your muscles aren't as effective if they're all tired from cardio'ing it up, so weights first. Plus, getting into that nice fat burning zone through weights so you can maximize your cardio burn. I think that's a real thing.

I have heard that ellipticals don't typically give the most accurate read-outs. I feel like they overestimate for me. I don't feel like I'm working as hard for the calories as I do when I jog. Interested in other people's experiences, so bump!

....what. Go to a gym. No one will care. Most the people there will be more fit, anyway.

Turbo Jam is supposed to be pretty similar in calorie burn to kickboxing.

Best was like 37 mins, but I'm back above 40 atm.

I lol'd. Oh, also, one bad day isn't a huge deal. No worries.

I just made a CD for my friend of the songs I have to have when running. I really, really love the Black Eyed Peas. They have pushed me for many many extra miles. I think some of the 3Oh!3 songs might be a tad offensive (which is why I love them so). Tracklist: Black Eyed Peas - Showdown / Album - The E.N.D. Lady GaGa -…

Thanks for your advice everyone!

Not ideal, but if I don't have bananas and suspect one is coming on, I take an ibuprofen before bed. Seems to stave them off!

Maybe one way to look at it is to look at how much you've acheived performance-wise. Like being able to run further/faster or lift more. These are still improvements to celebrate!
-
Maybe you need to eat more?
-
I just took out a subscription with intentions of trying one of their regimes out, but alas, have not started yet.

I got mine removed! ;) Definitely worth it. I used to get sick all the time when I ate and I thought I just had a sensitive stomach. It's been years now. I used to take a bottle of pepto a month, and I can only recall taking the pills once since I've had it removed.

I think different things work for different people. I ate calories back and gained weight, while other people eat them back and lose faster. I saw the most success just eating my MBR and then counting exercise as extra burning. But that's just how my body works, apparently.

Also, what kind of food are you eating that is super high sodium? I think if you try to add more lean meats like chicken or turkey it could help you keep both fat and sodium in control.
-
Both are delicious, but I would try to limit sodium more and eat healthy fats. I think fats are a good part of the diet.

Half sandwich - turkey on wheat with a spicy mayo, onions, tomato and lettuce + Cup of creamy broccoli soup. Very tasty!
