By the way, you mentioned in your original post that your husband "knew" that you stopped by his house after your run and got a ride home. Did he know about the request to send pics? Because I'm pretty sure this puts this into a different context. You might not mind your husband spending time with a woman you both know,…

You don't know if this is relevant? Really? Yes, it's relevant. He probably takes it as a thinly veiled excuse to hang out with him alone. How did that phone conversation go? "Yeah, I just finished my run and it just happens to be in front of your apartment . . . mind if I come in?" I would definitely take that as heavy…

I talked to a dietician about this issue - my insurance company enrolled me in a special program that gives me access to this help - and she also recommended that I decrease my cardio, while maintaining my calorie goal. My current plan is to do cardio 5-6 days / week and keep the 3x / week strength training. I'm going to…

Thanks for your thoughts. I did start with more than the bar (didn't read up thoroughly enough), so it's starting to get a little more challenging. I will check out that other group right now. Thanks again.

So, if I eliminate three of my elliptical workouts, should I still increase my calorie intake? Or am I fine at 2500?
-
You might try re-posting with the name of the program in the title. There are also a few groups for those doing the JM ripped in 30 program . . . you might want to join one of those and post in there.

BMI can be such nonsense. I have to believe your body fat percentage would be in the healthy range. If you want to lose a few more pounds for your goals, great, but I wouldn't be a slave to BMI in the absence of a body compoosition test. Rant over. Carry on. You look great, by the way. :)

Missed by 400 calories? That's nothing. You're probably still eating at a rate at which you will lose weight (assuming you set your goal to lose 1 lb / week or more). Make sure your goal is attainable and start again tomorrow. No problem.

Sorry, I don't see why this guy is a jerk . . . He's in a non-committed relationship. He had a date with another woman. He gets a call from his FWB saying she is "ending all knowing he can just push me aside after 2years." He apologizes (I guess for taking his date to that specific location???). He doesn't call the woman…

Great ideas!

Someday you may look back on this as the day you changed your life. No one here will be able to accurately put a label on you and it's not very productive anyway. It's the last thing you should be worried about. I HIGHLY recommend that you seek some professional counseling. You're so young and you have so much time to be…

I'm really curious as to how much you are taking in and what your goal is. If my goal is 3500 and you are trying to take in "extra potassium" that must mean you're gunning for 5000mg or so. After your lunch gives you 986mg you would still have over 4000mg to go.
-
When I started logging food at MFP I became obsessed with my potassium intake. It was the only micro I consistently wasn't reaching recommended levels. Then I had some blood work done and my potassium was safely within the recommended range. I'm guessing that I'm taking in a lot of "hidden" potassium due to it not being…

Maybe it's just the way the picture is taken, but the dress almost looks a little loose on you. Very nicely done!
-
I would do three things: 1) Set a reasonable calorie goal for your weight. Enter it into MFP (or another food logging site). 2) Log everything you eat. Even if it's bad. Especially if it's bad. Start by trying to stay within your overall calorie goal. If you mess up one day, start again the next. No worries. 3) Put an…

You look great! Running, heavy lifting, tabata, HIIT . . . you do it all! Now try to keep the same hair color for a few months. :)

That sounds like a great program to me. I would keep doing that. You haven't posted anything about diet. Are you tracking calories? Have you figured out BMR and TDEE? If your clothes are fitting better, that's really better than the scale at this point. In the long run the weight will come off if you are eating above BMR…
-
Start by computing your TDEE also: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Please post results to get some help with this. Your calorie goal should not be below 1200 (or probably even 1200).
-
If the primary driver of your goals is your wedding, I would consider focusing more on strength training than losing weight. I would recommend eating at a small deficit and doing a heavy lifting program (there are a number of threads about 5x5 or stronglifts for more info). I might even just eat at maintenance calories for…

Lift heavy.

Made sure I was eating above my BMR (eating below BMR is by far the most common mistake I see among people tracking their food). Bought a food scale.

Here is what I suggest: Go into a strip club posing as a customer. Pick out a woman and pay for a lap dance. When you are alone, tell her: "I know you're here against your will, but I'm here to save you." Report back on the response you get.

This is a good place to start: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Guessing at your height, your numbers will be around: BMR: 1600 (this is the bare minimum calorie goal) TDEE: 2500 at moderate exercise (2200 at light exercise) TDEE-20%: 2000 at moderate exercise (1800 at light exercise) I would probably set a…

I'm not a runner, but here is some info to start with: There is a difference between joint pain from "impact" (the foot hitting the ground) and just plain using your body in a way you haven't before. The latter is usually described as muscle pain (not a joint issue) and will resolve as you continue to do the activity -…
-
Check out this site: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Plugging in your data yields the following results: BMR: 1606 - this is the absolute minimum you should be eating TDEE: 2209 (this is for light exercise - 1-3 hours/wk, TDEE=2490 for 3-5 hours moderate exercise/wk) TDEE-20%: 1767 (this is the recommended…

If OP is still owed 5 years of child support by father, would court really enforce a support payment by mother?

If you really are a WOMAN in her 30s (and not a teenage girl), you need to seek counseling, not a message board.

I'm not familiar with this type of exercise regimen. Many strength programs recommend resting for a day in between workouts for the muscles to recover. Muscle recovery is a part of the process in order to gain strength. Is this a regimen you got from a reputable source or are you just winging it? You may be better off…
-
Try this link: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Plugging in your info yields these results: BMR: 1650 - most on here will tell you to eat this as your MINIMUM TDEE at moderate exercise (3-5 hours/wk): 2557 Recommended calories: 2046 (TDEE minus 20%) Whoever told you to eat 1200 calories wasn't doing you any…

A few months ago I was 380 lbs at just over 6'1". Since then I've lost 40 lbs. Now I feel like I can do this without WLS (which I had investigated, although not as thoroughly as you have). I really think that if you commit to losing the 40 lbs, you'll know the best decision for yourself at that point. My advice: don't…
