There are plenty of sites where you can type in your stats and it'll tell you how much you should eat to maintain your current weight. http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ My guess would be about 1300-1400 calories.

I think it depends on the individual and how long they plan to go. Honestly, just drink a glass/bottle of water (then pee lol) then go run. That way you are hydrated. If I try running without being hydrated first, my throat dries out and it makes the run less fun and more miserable. I think a banana after a run is great!…

Hey :) I'm 5'4 and started out at a little over 125 pounds. I cut cheese and ice cream out of my diet and replaced the ice cream with pop-cycles (typically 45 calories) and lost 5 pounds fairly quickly. Well, my weight has been fluctuating between 120-122 but still it's a difference. Also, an idea is if you get hungry…

Yeah, "former", sorry about that. I thought you assumed I still was or something. I'll definitely cut back on the sweets/sugar and try more greens and legumes. Thank you :)

I didn't know coffee did that. thanks!

I'll try more veggies...I'm a vegetarian so protein is pretty tough though :/ Thank you!

I figured the smoothie and mixed veggies were 'good' carbs...that's what I had BEFORE the junk. I guess I should cut all junk out huh? Thank you.

The military actually uses peanut butter in a special weight loss plan for new recruits if they come to boot camp overweight. You just have to portion it -that's all :) I think a serving is a tablespoon-which is honestly A LOT if you take your time eating it. Peanut butter is real thick and great for protein. Far as the…

Thank you so much for this post :) I'm a former anorexic -well, mostly-and it is so vital that people understand the risks of low-cal diets. Our organs need a certain amount of food to function...take that away and you are looking at headaches, dizziness, fatigue, even weight-stalling from starvation mode...which is why…

I used to hate shopping and wore the same T-shirts over and over until they had holes in the pits, but now I blow more money than I probably should on clothes and shoes and even some jewelry (which I never used to use)....:D

Hey :) Take it from someone who used to binge every night - usually 3000 calories+. I know it's hard and deterring whenever you eat over the 'recommended' calories, but do know every new HOUR is a chance for success. Just set your mind straight. Think more along the lines of food for survival than for pleasure. Food has…

I saw a picture of grilled asparagus and it looked to die for! Yummo :) Great recipe idea!

Hi :) I seem to have a 'thigh' issue too. I did quite a bit of research though and the best exercise to lose thigh fat is walking and/or running by the looks of it. I noticed when I walk for exercise with some jogging thrown in there my thighs tend to slim down within a week! Try to walk about an hour to start. 30 minutes…
