Well done! Loving that outfit ;)

I totally feel you on the tendonitis front. I'm finally getting past my chronic dual patellar tendonitis, but it's taken a lot of PT sessions! Swimming was also recommended to me as well as elliptical (instead of walking/running)/ (Though, elliptical may not be an option for you at the moment.) I also started doing upper…

Welcome back Tracy! Wow, I feel like this could have been written by me! I was in a very similar state through my twenties, and in my early thirties I started to feel frustrated and upset with myself as well. I was not big into exercise pretty much since I'd started college (dunno why that was, maybe just too tired from…

GREAT work!!!! And thanks so much for sharing what worked for you! :)

Looking great, keep it up!! I can't believe people haven't noticed either, however... if you feel good, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks :)

I haven't read through all 4 pages of comments, so forgive me if I repeat anything ;) I think what we need to take away from this is that if there's something that you really, really want (such as to lose weight), you will find a way to do it. I definitely agree with the OP in that some people think there is no path to…

OH MY GOSH!!!! That is an incredible transformation, you really do look like a completely different person! Many congrats on sticking with your calorie counting and throwing in the strength training too! What an inspiration. :)
-
WOWWWW go YOU!!! You look great :) I have a similar body type, but I started from 220 and am down to 180. You got almost twice the weight down from me in less time too!!! Any secrets? :D

Low-impact yoga stretches are great!
-
Great suggestions, I might need to try a couple of these too :D
-
You looked great in both pics, but congrats on becoming healthier!! :) Very inspiring!

Like others said, you were beautiful before, but STUNNING after!! Congrats on the weight loss, you look gorgeous!!! (I have to say I am loving the hair as well ;))
-
That is so wonderful, congratulations on your new lease on life!!

@Cruisinamy - I am SO happy for you!!! I can't even imagine being a size 6 right now. I would love to also enjoy shopping someday... ;)

5'4" 187 lbs Used to be a size 18-20, now I can wear 16s!!! (occasionally 18 if they run small). I would LOVE to be a size 14 again someday, finding pants above that size can be challenging in most clothing stores here. :/

You go girl!! Many congratulations are due for coming this far! Very inspiring, thank you :)

Awesome!!! :D

What all these other wonderful people said! I've been on MFP almost a year now and lost 30 lbs in the first 7 months-ish... but have only lost about 2 lbs in the last 4 months. Am trying to change it up a little to trick my body into losing weight again, with more intense cardio and more instances where I lift weights...…

I'm wondering about this too! I've probably been carrying my extra weight for at least 10 years, and am hoping to lose about 60 lbs to start off. Am also doing strength training but it still seems like the fat or loose skin covers up any definition! :/ And I too do not have the money or will to go the surgical route.
-
I totally feel you Lucy!! I've been on MFP almost a year now and have only lost 30ish lbs... it's a lot but at the same time not enough for me. I'm 5'4" and about 187 currently, it's become suddenly really hard for me to lose any more weight. Trying to get to about 160 (I want to keep muscle though so have been working…

I haven't used those three games you mentioned, but when I started my weight loss journey, I tried out Kinect Sports. Pretty fun stuff, surprisingly the boxing one made me the most sore!! Dance Central is great too but a little diffcult for me :P.

I, too, am aiming for a permanent lifestyle change. Almost a year ago now I became a pescaterian, started to exercise ALOT more, cut out most processed foods (including SODA). Losing very slowly but have also been gaining muscle... lost 32 lbs this way, no diet fads or crazy programs. Am hoping to lose 25 more this way and…

The first two days of mine are usually pretty bad. I hate feeling like I'm going to leak in public too, haha. During these days I usually just do a bunch of yoga (the breathing helps with the pain), starting out really slow and ramping up if I'm feeling up to it. It especially helps in the morning after waking up!

You look marvelous!!! Thank you for the inspiration! I also have discovered I could care less about what I weigh, as long as I can tone down my body fat (my own muffin top/back fat, haha. I'd much rather be heavier than "normal" (which is so much BS anyway) and actually be physically self-sufficient. Although looking good…

Thanks for the tip! Good news is I washed the strap again and it seemed to work (for now). The transmitter battery is supposed to last 2 years but who knows how much I drained! Will keep this in mind now.
-
Argh I'm having the same problem!! Didn't know leaving the sensor attached to the strap would drain the battery, but it had worked for almost a year now no problem. Wetting it doesn't seem to matter now, it still gives the 00. Anyone know how to change these batteries? :P

I love Pho!!! Being a pescaterian, I usually only get it with tofu or seafood. And although it's not as fun, at most places you can order it without the vermicelli noodles if you're watching carbs. Edit: Yes, what Alexandria said above! :)

If you do decide on getting it altered (and not on a new dress), make sure to bring it in at least a month in advance of the wedding, the place I bought mine at didn't get back to me for a long time, then claimed they couldn't find the dress when I finally went in! Everything ended up okay but just make sure to have a time…

This is great, thanks for sharing!!
