I had to pretty much give up Cheezits... SOOO good but if I bought any I couldn't eat just a few! Pizza is also a huge weakness but I just try to exercise my butt off on a day when I might be "forced" to eat some at a friend's house or something. :)

Haha original post cracked me up! Good for you trying to get in exercise any way you can! Drives me crazy to sit in one place for more than a couple of hours. Chair yoga is great :)

Checking out the website as I write this... YUM!
-
That's great!! I definitely have a lot farther to go before I can do that. ;)

Ack! I did not know about that... one more reason to limit my intake. Sheesh... I barely eat any processed foods (usually cook most meals) and I'm still at or slightly over the 2500mg recommended most days. Guess it's one more vice to try to break!

The only time I used artificial sweeteners was when I drank coffee, and I don't do that much anymore... I try to just eat natural sugars too! And I also think it's pretty impossible to stay under sugar, it seems to imply that you could only have 1(ish) serving of fruit a day (and I try to do more than that, esp if I'm low…

I'm having the same problem as the OP! I started working out 6 days a week about 2 months ago and have not lost a SINGLE POUND since then. Granted I'm likely gaining muscle but my measurements don't seem to be going down either. I had a big sodium problem before I started tracking but I was losing a lot of weight in the…

If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, they have a lot of frozen food options... one of my faves is the frozen marinated Ahi steaks. Slap on the grill for 5-6 min/side (technically it's cooking I suppose but nothing much involved), microwave some frozen veggies to go with :).

WOW, definitely intense!!
-
EXACTLY!!! What the heck is she doing in that interview? LOL.

You look great, congratulations!!! :D

You look fantastic, almost a different person!! Congratulations! :) I am sorry for your loss, and the losses of all the others who've posted here... Terrible thing to go through, but at least something positive came from it. One of the main reasons I'm also here trying to lose weight (other than cosmetic reasons) is that I…

Great work, you are an inspiration to me! :)

Wow CONGRATS!!!! Thank you for such awesome inspiration!! I'd hit my first plateau a little while ago and am trying to figure out how I'm going to go about breaking it. Seeing all these success stories makes me realize it CAN be done!! :)
-
What a wonderful story, I am so happy for you! :)

Don't think of this as a punishment, but a lifestyle change... looking at other's diaries was good advice. Part of this process for me was to slowly learn how to cook (I ate almost all processed crap before). I make things I want to eat and just make sure I watch the portions and exercise! :) I find if I'm craving…

Great job, love the Ghostbusters tee ;D

I am also a pescatarian (eat fish or shellfish about once a week at the moment)... I don't think I could ever give up dairy products, I get a lot of my protein there. Been using greek yogurt in homemade tzatziki with pita, or with fruit and a little honey for breakfast, tons of protein in that! Trying to buy things like…

Really good advice here, it always annoys me when I see ads on TV trying to sell ridiculous extra gear for getting in shape. Or people you know that try to tell you that you can't REALLY get fit unless you have this this or this equipment. Just trying to work on lifting my own body! ;)
-
Wow fantastic job!!! I'm a bit jealous :)

Great tip NancyAnne ;). It's not my favorite thing either, but being able to taste what's inside (and probably save money too) is great! Thanks for sharing. :)

Fantastic!! I have around 3 more lbs to lose and then I will be there too, woohoo!! :)
-
So great to hear your story... I too started MFP at around your weight though a little heavier, 218. Can't believe I ever let myself get to that weight, I guess it was fairly gradual so I didn't notice at first. I started MFP in January and it's done wonders for me (that and slowly learning to cook and not buy so much…

Wondering the same thing myself!

Like Braonain a bit above, I tried it last summer and couldn't get past week 2, my knees would be out of commission for a whole week sometimes. After my friend introduced me to MFP I decided to lose at least 20 lbs and start up again by just walking. I'm hoping to get back into C25k after I lose a little more! Heard it's…
