Jamie's message on day 12: Take a load off: you deserve it after the last few days! Since you aren't working your muscles, let's work your brain. I'd like to chat about something that a lot of people overlook: preservatives. It's easy to ignore the microscopic and indecipherable terms on the back of packaged foods, but oh…

I like smuckers natural PB... it is just peanuts and <2% salt

I agree with this completely... run YOUR race

Congrats on finishing C25K and moving to B210K!!!! My thoughts about this is posture and the shoes.... plus the timeframe has some impact. Let your body adjust to the extra ten minutes and pay close attentiong to standing up straight. *don't look at the ground while running*

I have been looking for an italian dressing recipe! Thanks a bunch!!!

I am doing the LiveFit program and really like it! I think that anyone can do it from any level of fitness. The first 4 weeks are without any cardio though... just so you know. I personally am still running because I am training for a half marathon in May and can't take the break.

I am 5'3.5" and currently weight 165 (rounded). When I took my measurements at the beginning of Jan I had a 39 bust, 40.5 waist (at belly button), and 43.5 hips. I would like to get to a 30 waist but after having a kid that might be hard  I only want to lose another 20 pounds and to do that I am currently doing…

I did the leg & calves workout yesterday. I did the leg press at 70 pounds for the first two sets and went to 85 pounds for the last set. The weights are lower this time because I used a different machine. Instead of my butt being on the ground pushing the weight away from me I was in a "chair" and I pushed myself away…

So here is the message from day 7 This is it, the last day of the first week of your lifetime transformation. Pat yourself on the back! You're on your way to becoming the best you possible. Remember: ■You should still be eating every few hours to keep your body fueled with sustained energy. ■If your body knows it's going…

So here is the message from day 6 Today's another rest day, so you can relax and let your body cool down. Even though we're in the first week of your life-changing transformation, keep an eye out for positive changes! Maybe your body fat hasn't budged, but your energy and attitude should be on the rise. Keep yourself…

Hello! I live in Columbus Ohio... west side  I have been at this for a year now and really like to have supportive friends!

I did the chest & triceps workout yesterday. I started with the narrow pushups since I was sure that I did them "wrong" last time :noway: and I wanted to really make an effort. I didn't go down very far (I would collapse to the mat) and I had to do them in sets of 3 the first time, then went to sets of 4 for the next…

We have some ideas in the nutrition thread or even the Phase One thread. I eat half a cup of egg whites "fried" like an omlete then lay that in a warmed tortilla (ezekila) with a little bit of cheese (1/4 cup or less).

I agree with the shake in the morning before the gym and the banana after the workout
-
bump... I need smoothie ideas!! Thanks everyone!

Use the bathroom breaks to do squats or wall pushups. I even brought a lighter weight and did over head tricep extensions. Once I did swimmers presses too. Take the stairs whenever possible and remember walk as much as possible (ie go talk to a coworker instead of emailing)

Here is a fantastic website with some "clean" recipies!!! I just browsed through them and didn't look to deep, but see what you think. After you make something share your thougths with the group http://www.oxygenmag.com/Nutrition/Articles.aspx?category=Clean-Recipes

2 pounds per week is the most that is recommended.... so from the middle of Jan to the middle of May is 4 months with 4 weeks each (estimated without looking at the calendar) so that is 16 weeks total. At 2 pounds per week that would be 32 pounds lost by the middle of May. Disclaimer - depending on how dedicated you are…

I have heard that somepeople rent their dress... I personally don't know if it is anything more than rumors but it could be true if you look into it.

So tonight I did the Shoulders&Abs plus the Back&Biceps. Here is the summary of how I did. Shoulders started with seated dumbbell press and I did those with 15 lbs. Next was the front delt raise to a "T"... I am not sure if I did these right but I did my best. I those with 8 ;bs for the first set and then finished with 5…

I agree with everyone that says CONFIDENCE is sexy... that is what I hear all the time. I don't yet have the confidence to feel sexy all the time. When I was heavier I thought I was cute and could rock being cute when out. Now I am working on being MORE than cute and I personally don't think I am there just yet. I know…

This morning I made my egg whites like an omlet. Then put a tortilla in another pan to warm it up/toast it and springled some colby jack cheese in it. Finally add the egg white omlet and fold tortilla in half!! Instand goodness!!!!
