pretty much what I eat, I also do bell peppers with hummus or laughing cow cheese, you can make a light dip out of sourcream and powdered ranch for the carrots. Smoothies can simple and just be fruit and water with sweetner if you like ( my favorite is mango).

I would suggest renting them? If you have netflix you could rent the DVD's and I know blockbuster rents games. Try them out before you are stuck with something you don't like.

I tired with shoes and without and ended up finding my five figners are perfect! I also do it on wood floors and move to the carpet when I have to do ab stuff. My feet would hurt so badly with shoes on and I could not do the squats barefoot.

it has to do with your settings, not everyone is given the same amounts and some have altered how much they want to eat.

I have mine set to 40/30/30 and have a similar problem, I do best if I have eggs in the morning, yogurt as a snack, some type of protein with lunch, nuts as a PM snack and a light dinner with a protein shake after my work out. Pretty much what the poster above said, BMR is if you were to just lay in bed. The calories MFP gives you are good. If you are having trouble with your calories I would suggest eating back some of your work out calories. Also. check out peoples diarys to see how others are eating.

I get mine at sams club, 20 bucks for a 2lb tub, it has low carb, high fiber, and has omega 3. It has 23g protein for a 35g scoop which is pretty good, called Pure Protein Plus
