I completed Zombies5K last week and started Zombies Run! I found I flailed a little just doing straight runs - basically, I need someone telling me what to do in order to run longer. So I use RunKeeper in the background with run/walk intervals programmed in.

Maybe you're not running often enough? Most beginning runner training programs have you running 3-4x per week, not twice a week like you are.

I'm doing it! 5'9", 289 (was 314). Like you, I started with another aerobic, but non-weight bearing exercise -- serious lap swimming. The shift to running was maybe a little harder than I expected. Honestly, I just use two Champion racer back bras from Target, one on top of another. I'm a 44DD and the XXL fit. I prefer the strapped-down feel for running -- nothing moves.

My BMI puts me well into the morbidly obese category, and I'm over 40 years old, but I've never had any obesity related problems other than PCOS, which is sort of a chicken and egg thing. Now I'm searching for wood to knock on!
