  • This is one of my favourites
  • My word, there are some beautiful images here. Amazing talents, thank you for sharing.
  • I'm 5'9" ish (175cm) tall and am with the OP. I've lost 16lb and it's barely noticeable. I think as someone else mentioned, maybe your older clothes may have stretched with you - I think that's what happened to me! I also seem to lose from the head down, and always the lower tummy last. This time I have a destroyed tummy…
  • I have a Sony Ericsson Experia - Active something or rather.... It doesn't sync but I just let it sync with my laptop at home. I have the 'One' and I get along fine.
  • Qld, ex-Brisbanite currently on the Fraser Coast  It's hot today.
  • I tried to lose weight last year, and life got crazy so I just stopped trying. If I had not given up, I would be at my ideal weight by now for sure. Plus I have a bunch of winter clothing that doesn't fit right now, and we have just started Autumn over here. I hate being cold and unprepared for winter! I have 15 mth old…
  • Visited my parents yesterday and didn't eat the chocolate caramel slice that was on offer, just sitting there on the table looking at me. :-)
  • Oh good, another one with a creepy brother!
  • My oldest brother apparently stares at my tits if I'm wearing a low cut shirt at family gatherings. I never noticed but my other brother's wife told me... Ew. Not that surprised as he's always staring and commenting on other women in front of his wife, I guess he just saw tits and didn't know/care who they were…
  • I depends on the individual I think - a bunch of trial and error. Very active people seem to be able to pull off a 'cheat day'. I have a single meal every week where I don't log. It's always friday night with my husband after the babies are asleep, and we have Bean Nachos with lots of mozzarella, and low fat sour cream and…

  • Go for the 2nd opinion if you need it. I had one severe attack which had me at the ER at 430am, and I couldn't keep water down nor stand straight for a week. I had a stone impacted in the duct, and thankfully it fell back into the gallbladder so I could recover. My Dr scheduled the operation as needed, and one opinion was…
  • Good grief no! 1. It's just autumn here, summer has been foul and you need something to absorb the sweat as you sleep - and stop you sticking to yourself, and 2. Our dog is friendly, And curious, and likes to keep people clean - She has full access through the house and often sleeps on our bed
  • No help here. I just love bread and butter. :-3
  • This is a spectacular post, thank you so very much for sharing it! You are amazing. :flowerforyou:
  • Ahhh poop, too big. Shoulder was my 1st Coop was my 2nd, then more added around him with a big old blue hotrod (like a Mercury) with smoking tyres...that was in the 1st pic
  • Probably should get a photo of the back piece properly, but it's unfinished (has been for years now, ran out of $).
  • I have a Sony Ericsson running Android, and it stuns me that it can't work with the Fitbit One I have. As Previous Poster says, in MFP go to your APPS tab along the top of the screen on your pc. It syncs pretty easily from there.
  • Looking at my track record... Apparently a bit bold, and cheeky/mischevious attracts me... so, confidence and a sense of humour is a very good start. Tall, dark hair, clean shaven, good broad shoulders and no chicken legs. Faithful. Intelligent, but skilled in the manly arts of Fixing Stuff. (well, that's my husband so…
  • I start off by just focusing on my diet. You can lose weight without going to the gym, and just getting a good brisk walk in every other day, either before or after work, or on a lunch break (if you have one). Heck, you can lose weight without excercise but it does help in many different ways.
  • Similarly, I lost a bunch o weight and saw some people I hadn't seen in a few months . One reaction: Them: 'OMG What happened to you?! Me: 'I got sick'. Them: scuttled sideways a bit. 'Oh.' I was actually sick, though, and needed surgery to get my gallbladder out. It was the 3 month wait between the problem arising and my…
  • If you get married to 'tick a box' then yes. If you marry someone who isn't compatible with you, then yes. I've been married for 5 years, but actually been friends/dated/lived with my husband for 18 years this year. I admit, I have wondered what life would be like if we didn't get together - would life be easier? Would I…
  • Good for you, that's just awesome. :-) I have a pair of jeans that I love, but haven't fit for a number of years now. I bought them when I first decided to live a better lifestyle and lost close to 60lb. I actually didn't recognise my own butt in them, they looked so good! I had never been confident enough to wear jeans…
  • Good luck whatever you choose. If you have pale skin like me, you might end up with cancer if you sun tan. You might not, there are a lot of factors that will determine your outcome. I had my first cancer cut out of my face when i was about 23. The next when I was 26. I was young enough that the tiny stitches healed well…
  • LOL I'm picturing quite the hissy fit... My dog was terrified of mine when she was a pup.
  • Interesting... I did the wrist measurement one the other day and it said I was small framed. I think there must be other ways because I have very long fingers, and long (not wide) feet. Long arms n legs - spidermonkey-ish, but wide hips. The recommended weight for my height, small frame came out as 61-67 kg, but I don't…
  • Too many hours lost to MUDs here...
  • You need to WANT it. My motivation is to not hide from photos, so my babies have something to look back on. There are about 2 or 3 nice pictures of me with my babies (I had twins, they are almost 15mths old now). I also want to be able to keep up with them! Once your little one is walking, they will want to explore the…
  • Feeling a bit old and behind the times here... I *USED* to love my gaming, from table top AD&D, RPG on our C64, too much Tony Hawk on the old Playtstation, playing MUDs til 3 am then getting up to start work at 8am... I kept away from WOW because I knew it would be like crack. I thought going on maternity leave early meant…
  • Finish it, then work on speed. I did it a few years ago, and hope to do it again soon. As others have mentioned, don't go too hard too soon. It will naturally get easier as you get fitter and lose weight. I pushed it too hard one day and did something awful to my hip, I couldn't run again for weeks. :frown:

  • Haha, totally. I don't think it\s weird, though - just common sense. Probably due to being a teenager in the grunge period.
