I still walked for an hour this morning.....good thing, as I'm still over for the day....but not too far over. Enough that I can absorb it the rest of the week.

I started first week of May....just hit 45 lbs today (down to 187)......so about 6 months.

I suggest a Fitbit Zip. It logs all your walking type activity and converts it into calories. It syncs with MFP. Costs about $60. You put it on and forget about it. Only log non-walking activities (weights / swimming / etc).

You leash pets, not children. If you can't keep control of them in public, don't take them out in public. This is one of those things that's a parent problem, not a child problem.

I also had acid reflux issues. I used to eat tums like they were going out of style. Add in a couple prilosec every couple of weeks. Since I lost 30+ lbs in the last 4+ months, I've only had 1 episode.

I've been walking almost every day since the beginning of May. I do 10 laps (about 3.33 miles) just about every day, and I'm down 30 lbs.
