Eating until it hurts and you vomit or feel close to vomiting. Usually involves consuming 2500-5000 calories in one sitting but can be more. A binge would look something like this: 1 family bag of chips 1 pint ice cream Several large spoons of peanut butter and/or nutella 12 cookies 1 family bar of chocolate 1 red velvet…

You look incredible now! I would never have thought you weigh more now than before

@ aliann, thank you! Just spent ages reading the photoshop thread. It was fascinating. I think I needed a sense check today and your reply definitely helped!
-
Good idea on checking the measurements, will look for that now!

I think it is always best to like yourself and treat yourself well before starting a relationship. I think you are more likely to attract guys who like you and who treat you well, if that is your frame of mind.

I log for the whole day in the morning (with all my good intentions) and then 'amend' at night to record where things didn't quite go to plan

Go and enjoy it! We work all year, at work and at the gym, we eat healthy and watch our salt, alcohol, sugar intake etc. Why do we work hard? So that we can afford to go on amazing vacations, look great in our bikinis, and have a good time!! So go and enjoy yourself after working hard to get there

31 years old 5'7.5" SW: 201 CW: 136 GW: 120 Current measurements: Bust: 38 Under boobs: 32 Waist: 27 Hips: 39 It's down to bone now on my top half and so I don't think there are any more inches to lose. My weight seems to all be in my legs :(

Yes completely! I even chose a picture of my ring as my profile photo here on MFP to keep me motivated to log my food each day!

I still like the same foods but now I won't just eat some low quality, cheap nasty version of my favourite foods. If I eat chocolate, it had better be Cadburys. If I eat ice-cream, it needs to be Ben & Jerrys. If I eat cake, I want it to be a really tasty homemade one. So basically, my taste has become more 'fussy'…

Age: 31 Height: 5'7.5" SW: 201 CW: 135 GW: 120 I am really confused about my goal weight though. A few people have told me this week that I shouldn't lose anymore weight. But I don't know if they are being nice or fake-concerned or actually they are trying to sabotage my diet efforts. I am quite boney looking at 135 but I…

when your fiance sees you in your old stretch pants and says "those pants are hilarious, they are so enormous on you" um... actually, they were rather snug a few months ago
-
Thank you, that's a really good way of looking at it. I am going to remind myself of this next time I get all embarrassed and upset when someone is actually only trying to be nice!

31 years old 5' 7.5" Large frame, broad shoulders, wide rib cage, large hands and feet, wide set hips etc. SW: 201 CW: 135 GW: don't know.... originally 120 but people have been telling me that I look good now and not to lose any more weight. So I am not really sure what to think. My bones are all noticeable on my upper…

I completely hate people mentioning my weight loss. I feel embarrassed because they must have thought I was enormous before. I don't understand why I hate it so much... I should feel proud of my weight loss. But today it just makes me feel ashamed. A work colleague who had been off on maternity for a while saw me today and…

I dislike cash bars even though I am in the UK. We are having an open bar because the guests are people that i love and I would rather treat them nice than wear a designer dress. Worst wedding things that I have experienced so far (sorry if this offends people): --- Long speeches or speeches with too many in-jokes and…

Me too!! Must take a certain type of twisted mind....

Ugh now I feel depressed

@Matt, I don't know what your perceived gain is here? Does it make you feel better about yourself to write these types of posts? Does it give you some sort of self-validation? Does it make you feel pious or important? For the avoidance of doubt, these are all rhetorical questions ^^ I think you may have less issues in life…

I am so pleased that not all men are like this

Hi, I'm a late joiner. Getting married on 21 September and trying to lose the last few stubborn pounds. And maybe, just maybe, I might be able to keep the weight off after the wedding too... and beat the yo-yo habit which I have had for the last decade
-
Good luck! You can do this! And I definitely agree with doing things step-by-step because it can be really daunting otherwise. When I started out on my weight loss journey, I would have given up from day one if my initial goal was to lose 80+lbs. So I started by trying to lose 20 lbs and, when I reached that milestone, I…

Giraffes have tongues which are over a foot long and, more noticeably, their tongues are also black. Have you noticed any elongation of your neck recently?

Good for you, Matt, being so controlled. I bet you are a heap of fun to hang out with :drinker:

^^my first thought! But then hearing about him crying and weeding and babying... I'm not so sure that he is a man after all. The guy needs to man up and earn your affection. Stop reinforcing/indulging his weak behaviour. Personally, I would find it sexually repugnant if a guy was this emotional and uncertain about what he…
