When I wake up at 5:00 a.m. and it's 30 degrees outside, my #1 thought is "I hate this so much. I dont have any energy to run, this is gonna suck so hard. I want to crawl back into my warm bed." But then I remind myself that this has happened many times before, and every single time I am finished working out, I feel…

Follow FoodBeast on Instagram. It will fulfill your desires for life! I could look at food and recipes all day.

Any animal procedures are nerve wracking! Maybe put in a gym session/run/exercise? It may seem hard now with everything on your mind, but I always find that it makes me feel better and clears my head. I hope everything works out for your furbaby.

These days, crunchy is used to describe hippies/hipsters..."crunchy granola" type people. Hurt (as in ugly or messed up) is a word I remember being used a lot when I was in middle school. "Dude, his face is HURT."

Yes! I got a spiralizer and love it. Depending on the "pasta" recipe I make, the zoodles actually remind me of noodles. I also happen to love zucchini, so it works no matter what I use it for.

I eat sweet potatoes at least 1-2 times per week and cannot get enough. - Sweet potato white bean burgers http://www.howsweeteats.com/2012/09/smoky-sweet-potato-burgers-with-roasted-garlic-cream-and-avocado/ - Twice baked skins with black beans, corn, and cheese (anything else you want in there)…

I agree with some of the people on here - no foods are "dangerous", but there are some foods that are dangerous for us to be around personally. Even if I allot a small amount into my daily calorie goal, I WANT THEM ALL and cannot be trusted. Cookies/pretty much any soft baked goods Beer Pizza

Zoodles (zucchini noodles) are surprisingly filling. I thought I would need a giant plate, but with the right sauce and add-ins, I love them!

YOU may not have problems, and that's freakin awesome! But many people do, unfortunately. I would just like to be able to ask for and share recipes without people jumping down my throat, or the OP's throat, that theyre wrong or horrible.

Then we can disagree. And bad food doesn't just equal calories or macros or daily limits. There is more to life than counting. Sometimes, "bad foods" make people feel like crap, or make them lethargic, or make them nauseous, or make their cholesterol go up, even while fitting into their daily counts. Oh lawd, I'm arguing…

There IS bad food! We dont need to get all philosophical.... there is horrible, greasy, unhealthy food. And it's totally ok to eat it in moderation, youre right! But to say pizza isnt bad doesnt make sense. And yes, you can substitute things and it's still the same thing. Hamburgers are beef. I eat turkey burgers. I still…

People can do this and that, but why should you dictate that? Why do you care if someone wants an alternative to something? Also- it's a matter of opinion. To you, cauliflower crust isnt pizza crust. To me, thin crust isnt pizza crust, I hate thin crust, it's like a cracker. But I dont care if you eat it, because its YOUR…

LOL - trying to find a healthy alternative to something does not automatically set up an eating disorder. Indulge some of the time, eat healthy foods the rest of the time. Cauliflower crust (dont even have to call it pizza crust, call it what you want) is not ruining anyone's life. It's probably doing the opposite. And…

And my point is that I eat "real foods" and stuff I love often, but there may be some days where I want something with less calories and I happen to like the taste. There is nothing wrong with finding alternative ways to make something. I would love to eat pizza every single day, but it isn't realistic. You don't even have…

I LOVE doing this! Add some garlic and it's delicious.

Some people may want to work in pizza once a week AND have something similar a second time during the week. I do my cheat meals, but if I could have something that resembles pizza when I am craving it after I may have already worked it in, then that's a bonus.

That's awesome :D I may have to try clipping it. I actually have a sports bra with a zipper that holds my phone great...but after 2 miles, my chest hurts and I feel a little more out of breath.

Being a petite female that runs early in the mornings when it is dark, my phone is a necessity. I also like to map my runs to know my distance and time. I never check it, just require it on me.

Thanks to everyone for their advice! It's good to know I am not the only one who does great one day and then is lethargic the next, and it happens often. Maybe I will switch to running M, W, F and taking Tues and Thurs off. I just miss the rush on my days off! Also, I miss the calories I burned that I can eat back :)

Considering it was 13 degrees in TEXAS this morning, we are having homemade Pho soup with tofu. A little much sodium, but otherwise, low on calories and high in veggies!
