One of the best ways to get iron and protein is through dark greens, such as spinach, kale , collard greens. Beans of all kinds are also good for protein. :bigsmile:

I take synthroid for my hypothroid. It is harder to lose weight when you have problems with it. I also have secondary para thyroid disease. I am also in my early 60's too!!! Lots going against me but so far, so good. Hang in there.:wink:

I haven't had a c-section but have have 2 abdominal surgeries. I too, have the excess bulge that hangs over the scars. I have never gotten rid of it completely but when I get to a good weight it is much better. It helps when you are younger, I am in my early 60's.:happy:
