  • My relationship came to an end today. Knew we were having problems but didn't think it would happen this quickly and by phone. He is coming to move his stuff out tomorrow night. I'm left with all the bills and responsibility etc. Read some other posts and advice. Hope it gets better. Don't know how to tell my 6 year old…
  • I'm sorry to hear your feeling down. I didn't have a job for a year and its being at home and feeling down that led to my weight gain. By tracking my food it has made me feel more in control and a bit better. Unfortunately my relationship has just ended so I know what it's like to be a depressed mummy. But we have our…
  • I'm the same. I was calorie counting from january but my weight loss stopped as I became less strict so I joined MFP to help to keep losing. I joined nearly 4 weeks ago and seem to be losing about a pound a week again so nearly 20pounds lost since january and 3 since I joined MFP. Just trying to keep it up now! Feel free…
  • Northern Ireland. Anyone else?
  • I was doing really well with diet and exercise this year but the past couple of months it was less and less and lately its been none. I joined MFP nearly 4 weeks ago to help weight loss as I hadn't lost any in a few weeks. So far I have managed to fit in barely any exercise but the diet has been going okay. I definitely…

  • That's great to know! I try and walk at the weekend if it's not raining. I'll keep trying to do some exercise even if it's only a we bit. I'll have to make sure and stick to the diet as I won't be burning loads off! I find tracking everything I eat has made a huge difference already and helps me with the portion control…
  • What an inspiration! And a great example to your two children. Well done! =)
  • Well done and keep up the good work! =)
  • Wish you all loads of luck. I have to get tested for an underactive thyroid once a year as my levels are a bit low and it runs in my family. My mum has an underactive thyroid and managed to lose 3 stone with weight watchers a few years ago and has maintained her weight since. She said her weight loss was slower than others…
  • Give it a bit more time and if you still don't see a difference then try eating little and often. Sometimes smaller meals or small healthy snacks between meals can help. Make sure to drink plenty of water too. Good luck =)
  • Going to try! Have promised my self to start exercising again next week. It's hard to fit it in the with work and being a mum but no more excuses! Lol
