this! i always wear lululemon to the gym. they have the cutest work out clothes, and they make you look great just putting them on! personally, if i look cute at the gym (definitely not trying to impress anyone.. i go to an all-ladies gym), I will feel more confident and work out harder than if i look sloppy.

great work :) what did you do for exercise? and what is your diet like?

amazing xx

love this. thank you!

Anyone can add me! I appreciate great, supportive people :)

Yes! Squats and lunges are my fave. I noticed a big difference in my glutes after only 3 consecutive days of doing them...soon it will be my thighs!
-
ALSO! ALWAYS ask if you can order a half portion of the meal you want, or if you can get them to give you half and then put the other half in a take-away container for the next day! Especially pasta-based meals... I went to the Olive Garden the other day with a friend and we ordered the Baked 4 Cheese Ziti to share and we…

This!! I find it super helpful to know what's on the menu beforehand and research the calories if possible. At least if you see the menu you can go in knowing what you want, or knowing what you DON'T want (ie. if you see the burger you want comes with mayo, bacon, two kinds of cheeses etc.. you will know when you get there…

definitely recommend switching between the two at the gym. i always use two cardio machines when i'm at the gym bc they use different movements and use the muscles slightly differently. last night i did the bike for 20 mins and then the elliptical for 30 mins, tonight i'm going to run on the treadmill and then do the stair…

Lol healthy things can taste good too!! :)

100% it's pizza. WAY too delicious to give up. I'd rather train for 2 hours hard at the gym than give up my weekly pizza treat...hehe.

Try a salad that doesnt have lettuce - I'm actually not a huge fan of it either. My fave salad is a handful of cherry tomatoes, 1/4 diced avocado, diced red pepper and/or cucumber and sprinkle some feta on top with a bit of balsamic vinegar and that's it!

you are beautifullll!!!

I'm getting married on Sept 1. So I technically have 7 months...I just wanted to work on losing most (or all of it) in the next 4 months so I can focus on maintaining it and toning until my wedding day.
-
I guess I should just point out again... I should have instead said I wanted to lose INCHES. I know that muscle weighs more than fat, etc... Plus, I'm not the type of girl that 100% depends on what the scale says. I don't so much care if I weigh 165 or 145.. if I look good, then I look good and I'm okay with that :)

I'm learning to LOVE running even though I'm not great at it. I also really like strength training in more of a "bootcamp" style... lots of squats, lunges...possibly even burpees even though they kill! :)
-
I'm SUPER new to running. I have never been athletic at all growing up and I'm determined to get better at it! I live right next to a beach and it would be amazing to be able to run along it this summer! I'm not so much focused on speed as much as I am just being ABLE to jog for 30 mins without my lungs caving in!

Thanks everyone! I guess I should say that the exact pounds don't really matter to me as much as how I actually look. I just know that when I was 20lbs lighter, I could have lost another 20lbs and still been curvy, but looked good. I'm getting married in 7 months, so technically I have 7 months to do it but I just wanted…

5'5" cw: 188 gw:144 i'm trying for max. weight loss possible so i eat around 1200cals per day, and on days i work out i might eat up to 1400ish.

omg! amazing :) thank you for sharing !!!
-
Everyone is free to add me too! I'll be 23 this year and I'm getting married this summer as well! Trying to lose 40 lbs and get FIT! :)
-
I want to get down to 140! I'm really curvy as well :)
-
this is amazing! i'm looking to lose 40lbs in 4 months....i really hope i can acheive this!
-
I really didn't know that testosterone had so much to do with it. Thank for the info. I should also clarify, I did exaggerate when I said "bulk up like crazy"... didn't know you guys would get this defensive about it! There's a reason I still have 40 lbs to lose... geeeez people!
-
I get that you can treat yourself. I just wanted to see if anyone has had success losing weight on changing their eating habits alone.
-
It really depends on the body type. You can't say that you haven't seen women who bulk up from heavy weight lifting. I've seen it happen first-hand.
-
Wrong. Just plain wrong. Cardio is the best thing you can do for your heart, along with eating healthy. Have you seen what regular runners look like? They look so lean and healthy! Strength training should definitely be a part of your routine for maximum calorie burn. But you can also bulk up like crazy if over do it.
-
1. Continue to eat as HEALTHY as possible. 2. Cardio MIXED with strength training. Mixing it is a must for ideal calorie burn.

This is definitely true in my opinion... if I have a particularly good work out .. I need sugar STAT afterwards (in the shape of my Vega Chocolate Banana smoothie ;P ). Or else I find myself faint!
