I lost 40 pounds on Medifast, which is lower carb (100 carbs a day), and kept most of the weight off for over a year. I'm going back to eating less carbs as of this week and enjoying it so far. Mainly I eat meat, eggs, nuts, veggies, and cheese. I'll be steadily tracking soon...just one step at a time! Feel free to add me!

CONGRATS!! You look so healhty and strong! I've been toying with the idea of paleo/primal this week and cutting out processed food. I already eat local, free range eggs (REALLY free range...they live in a backyard :) ) and I'd like to find a good local source for my meat as well. My only question is...do you count calories?

In because I'm a cat lady! I have one cat who is a crazy hunter...birds, rabbits, baby moles, cicadas, chipmunks...oh yeah, and a bat. Sigh.

I think it would be AWESOME if some of us did our own before/after transformations with good lighting in the after and puffed out stomachs in before. Also, the easiest way to do it is to take the "after" picture while looking great, then eat whatever and take the "before" picture.

It has worked really well for me! I'm so glad I read that study. I just sort of alternate like man, woman, man, woman, man, man, woman...whatever. As long as it adds up to 12 of each I don't think it matters exactly when you fit them in. You can do it!! Have you tried plentyoffish?? :flowerforyou: :laugh: :laugh:

I'm positive I read the same study, and it said after 12 men you switch to women. I think an even dozen of each will help you decide what it is you really want.
