Make sure you are eating enough to keep up your supply. It's surprising how many calories we need to consume while we're EBF. MFP says I need 1650 calories to lose 1lb a week. I added 250 for BF and I've been losing about 2lb a week eating 1900 cal a day! I also keep a very close eye on supply (wet diapers, satisfied baby)…

Hi there! I'm brand new here too. I started MFP because my baby girl is 3 months and I feel comfortable dieting a little bit. I've lost weight already and am feeling great! I'm so worried than since I'm EBF it will affect my supply, but so far, so good :-) Shannon

I am EBF my 3 months old. I have my calories set at 1900 and exercise about 100-200 calories per day. I don't consume my exercise calories, so I am eating about 17-1800 a day; however, the weight has been coming off.
