  • I was ranting about this the other day myself. I think the important thing to note about any calorie calculator you use is whether or not exercise is included in the calculations. I'm still reading the replies from other posters, hopefully somebody had some input when to eat your calories back and when not to!

  • Start with anything sold by titlenine.com :) The Last Resort Bra (its actually an Enell) and the Trade-up bra. The Enell really does keep the girls from bouncing around, but its HOT in the spring/summer months. The Trade-up bra is a bit tricky to get into, but does the job equally as well. Plus, if you get hot, it covers…
  • I also liked the idea of salad in a jar. Only problem I had was finding forks long enough to eat right out of the jar. So I just shake it up and dump it out on a paper plate. I've gone back to BPA free plastic wear. The lunch bag is a lot lighter that way.
  • Well, in a way, I see the point of that statement. Once I was 266 lbs. I'm down to 226 now. The one thing I can definitely say is that I'm not as fat as I used to be. But, I still look down over my boobs, I still see some of my belly (but not as much!), and I have rolls of skin now (not fat). Do I think I'm fat? Honestly,…
  • Agree with all of the advice given above. The hardest thing for me was to not dash out with the pack when the start signal was given. Another site that has tons of great running information is http://www.halhigdon.com. There are some great articles out there about integrating exercise with running too. As far as socks go,…
  • I noticed two things about MyFitnessPal. 1) It asks how many workouts/ how long per work out (so your exercise is figured in) 2) Notice also that when you fill out your profile it gives you the value in NET calories. That means that the amount of calories you end up with at the end of the day needs to end up as the number…
  • Beachbody DVDs - Brazil Butt Lift, Les Mills Combat. Worked for me. Also checkout Oxygen magazine, there are butt workouts in there every month.
  • I'm a 36DDD now, and I swear by the Enell's. The one poster above may be right in that you could be between sizes. I wear a size 3. If you end up going w/ the size 2 and find that it chafes, grab a product named "Glide for Her". It keeps the Enell's from digging in. I can get into a size 2 and get it hooked, but it…
  • I once hated veggies. I still can't say that I'm a fan of veggies, but I am eating more veggies than I ever have in my life. I don't know a thing about the Advocare Cleanse but if it involves more veggies than you are comfortable with, maybe now isn't the time to put your hard earned money into that one. I think I had my…
  • I also am a runner, and am also cursed by the same pain in the butt on both sides! However, if you are scared of DVT, get thyself to a doctor soon. First make sure it isn't DVT, once that is put the rest make an appointment with a Chiropractor or Sports Med specialist. I ended up having IT Band Syndrome/ SI Joint issues.…
  • I second the vote for the Enell sports bras (http://www.enell.com) - If you follow the care directions they last quite awhile. They are quite supportive, no bounce whatsoever. Also look at the catalog from Title 9 Sports website. They've got one of the largest selections of sports bras for us that I've seen :)
  • If your heart rate monitor is set up properly, it should give you a more accurate reading than MFP. Most HRM's have settings somewhere for Age, Sex, and weight. So, the first place to check is the Owners Manual for your HRM. Luckily, if you've lost it, most manufacturers put manuals on their websites. Check your watch for…
  • If you do decide to go for it, order it directly from Beachbody. I believe they have a 60 day guarantee. If you find out it isn't for you, you can get your money back. I was running 4 mi a day last summer and tried it. It was too much for me! I ended up w/ Les Mills Combat (also from Beachbody). The routines and…
  • Runner's World has a bunch of articles up on their website. They had one last week about running your first 10k. I'm going for my first 10k in May when it warms up! I've done plenty of 5k's so I figured I'd sign up for this one. Its local so I won't have to get outta bed too early.
  • "Has anyone ever told you how nicely you fill out those jeans?"
  • Unable to post over on LS today. Guess they finally shut down the groups
  • Try Combat! I'm going on my 2nd season with it, I always end up going back to it even with other choices like T25, Rev Abs, and Rockin' Body.
  • Its up to you guys...I'm checking both places and am ok for doing that for awhIile. I'm enjoying the convenience of the free apps on both the computer and the phone over here.
  • The only glitch I found is that the sharing settings have to be the same on the phone and the computer. If one is different you keep overwriting the settings.
  • Oh good, glad you found it! Are you finding it easy enough to use?
