  • I don't eat my full allowance. I have 1200 cals a day and I could have 1300. They say you should not go below 1200 if you are a woman. Use the food diary on here and it adds it all up for you.
  • Yes - the best thing to do is to try to "eat clean" as they say - ie foods from the ground, tree,etc not processed. They turn out to be the most filling and generally are cheaper in cals. Good luck!

  • Oh and eggs are really good I have found - filling and low cal (66 cals).
  • Hi. I am in my first week too (have just lost 7.4lbs) and it is possible to survive on 1200 calories very easily just like the above poster. Just choose the foods you like and always plan it (I make my plan for the next day the night before). Good luck!
