Get a big purse, and smuggle in healthy snacks and bottled water. When you pack your own healthy snacks you can have what you like. I have been known to pack my purse full of healthy goodies.....I usually have to pack a variety of stuff for my husband and three teenage boys. :)

Yeah....I'm working on this too! I have about 97 pounds to go to reach my ultimate goal (145ish)! I will be graduating with my BSN on 12/13/2013 and I would really like to be down to 170 (about 70 more pounds to shed) by that time. That is 11.6 pounds a month for the next 6 months. I think that is fairly doable...at least…

My husband experienced the "feet falling asleep" thing on the elliptical last week at the gym. Honestly, I thought he was crazy! lol! I have never experienced it, or even heard of it for that matter. After reading this, I guess it is sort of common.

I try not to "cheat" per say, but then again.....I do not have any food that is totally off limits. For me this works. I just try to make healthy choices that are part of my diet (lifestyle). So, with that being said.....sure I have candy or a piece of cake every now and then. But, the amount of the candy and cake are…

Walking will do it! I'm just really getting started, but all I was doing for cardio (until two weeks ago) was walking. By walking, strength training with weights, and dieting, I dropped over 20 pounds in about 6 weeks. Now, I am alternating between walking and the elliptical for my cardio. :smile:

Hi! I'm 43, but I started the first of May right about where you are. I was 268!! I was tired all the time, and EVERYTHING hurt. I could not walk a block without huffing and puffing! I am now at 243, and I feel SO much better! My ultimate goal is around 145, so I have quite a ways to go, but just dropping this 25 pounds…

This is pretty much the same as my story for the first month. I'm sure I will level off some in the months to come, but I will enjoy the 19 lb loss for now.

I was a soda drinker a while back. If I was thirsty, I just reached for a diet coke. Then we went on a cruise....lol! Well, sodas are not cheap on a cruise, and I refused to pay the price that they wanted. Talk about quitting cold turkey, well that is what I did. By the time we got home I was soda free for 7 whole…

That is exactly what I did the last time I lost weight. This time the "fat" clothes will go away! It is so easy to just pull a larger size out of the closet.....then before you know it....BAM! You are right back where you were a year prior.

I don't think that is weird.....I have a picture on my phone. Every time I want to cheat, I just pull it up. Sure changes my mind fast! :happy:
