  • I'd love to have more supportive friends, accountability partners...whatever! :) I'm 10 weeks into my journey, come on here daily, and have an open diary. (nothing to hide here)
  • Oh for the love of Pete! I want to understand this thread so bad! LOL
  • We spend around $300/month for two adults and a small dog and 5 cats....oh! and my 15 yo son who is here every other weekend. This is for all foods, paper products, laundry & toiletries (which we also supply to our two daughters away at college) etc BUT I am a stay at home wife and I have the time to coupon and comparison…
  • Born in East York, Ontario...but grew up more of a Bluenoser (Nova Scotia). I've traded in my parka and boots for sun tan lotion and flip flops as I now live in Florida ....still a Canuck though! I'm on here everyday and have a long ways to go on my 'journey,' but please feel free to add me. PS.....I know it's a weight…
  • Please feel free to add me. I'm on every day----only 66 days....and 13 pounds into my journey so I too will be here for a while! :)
  • hmmmm....sounds very interesting so I've downloaded the app (user name TannaBanana) but I have NO clue how to work it yet? lol
  • I can't say how this one works as it is on my shopping list, but I did go through and read reviews, and compare prices and it seems like a good scale. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GMMTT5C/ref=gl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=207FSEC4YMGAA&coliid=IAD6EZO2PN7MD&psc=1
  • In 1998 my Aunt Connie was diagnosed with ALS...she was my mother's best friend and a dear sweet person to everyone who knew her. They grew up together and did everything together....including traveling to Denmark for the birth of my first child. Watching her go from such a hard working nurse and mother....to loosing…
  • Thanks for the advice everyone. Just a fun little update...after being up most of the night with the flu I woke up to our cat delivering kittens!!! It's the first time for both of us and boy I feel just as tired and wiped out as she is looking! We thought she was acting 'funny' the last 48 hours but who knew!?
  • Congratulations on your achievements! Thanks for sharing a success....helps me to stay motivated when I see that other "regular" people are doing it. :)
  • Good question! I don't log my "NORMAL" day to day stuff that I do along the lines of housework as I consider it a part of 'activity level.' For me, I have logged house and yard work only when it was deep cleaning that was strenuous and involved moving furniture, etc. or was raking the yard, etc. that I don't do on an…
  • I just tried this one today and LOVED it! PROS: *because it is a lasagna noodle rolled up, portion control is super easy * you can add/subtract any veggies YOU want in there as long as they are small (I added mushrooms, spinach, shredded carrot and onions to mine in addition to all the zucchini) * left overs are a…
  • I've just started on MFP AGAIN...lol and would love to have some "nice" friends on here as well. I have an open log, and I'm on everyday. I may only leave a short comment but please feel free to add me :)
  • First congratulations on your weight loss so far! I'm just starting out and hope to get down 66 pounds.....easy to say at this point so any motivational friends are a plus! :)
  • Congratulations on getting back on track. I love my Fit Bit, but my personal goal is only at 3000 steps a day right now. (medical conditions that limit mobility) I think that is the great thing about setting out own goals---no matter what our numbers are we can still be supportive of each other.
