Sometimes I measure and sometimes not. I once did Weight Watchers and did not measure at all. I lost a lot of weight. :smile:

Me too, ( ha ha). If I am eating in a social setting, I just keep on eating and chatting. My intentions are always good, till I get in the door.

What a great post. I can understand how somebody gets to that weight. They do it one pound at a time. You have really lost a lot of weight. :heart: I know everyday is a struggle.

Many , way too many times in the past, I drank a 12 pack of canned diet colas in a day. I always thought it helped..but def not good for you otherwise. Diet Rite Cola...:heart: ... has NO sodium..so won't cause water gain. :smile:

Ha ha. Drives me NUTS, too! I try, really try to remember the numbers that are fluctuating are lower than the ones I started out with. but I still often, want to drop the scales in the trash. :smile:

It's always a hard decision to make. I like to have popcorn and diet jello and cut cucumbers..to keep the cravings down. I have found that the more I resisted chocolate..the more I did not want it. Well.. I NEVER.. 'don't want it'..but the cravings have pretty much stopped. I do NOT keep it in my house. I can not be…

Cravings. It gets easier with time. When you get a craving, remember is only lasts a minute or so . get up..move to something else. Do this every time, every day..over and over and over again.:smile:

They run about $15 dollars on Ebay, new. or you can go to a WW meeting place and buy one.I.m not sure of the price there, but you could call ahead. If you ask around on this site, I bet someone would give you one.

:smile: Here is what I TRY to do.. I do not always succeed. After really messing up...I look nat the hours remaining in the day till bed time annd allow myself about 100 calories or 2 points per hour divided thru the day. Yes, I am still 'over' at the end of the day..but I took control..for the remainder of the day

U are right..it is all about what works for each person. I looked at WW online, but decided to do MFP. I can do points and calories, both here. I do love Weight Watchers, though..( The meetings). Best of luck to you.

Thank you. Not too many "I"s at all. After all, dieting is kind of an "I " thing. lol True, you can't just STOP eating. Often, I wish I could. It would be easier to NOT think of food at all..that to try to limit it. I don't know.
