  • Family really can be some of the most unsupportive as crazy as that is. My mom is half the reason I have such an unhealthy relationship with food. I've found a friend here at work who is working towards the same food and exercise goals, she has been a world of support. We go to the gym at lunch and we talk food and…
  • So glad to have you both!! i was trying to find a place on here for support and couldn't find anything so decided to make a group :-)
  • Maybe I should lock it down and have people request to be members so it doesn't get too big?
  • I think that's so typical (not the abusive relationship part and for that I'm sorry!) but the stress as a trigger piece everyone is mentioning. One little thing goes wrong and I turn to food. People say things like, go for a walk and clear your head, but it feels so much better to just eat my feelings instead. We have a…
  • Hi Everyone!! So glad to see people joining!! I have struggled with this for years, I'll be on track with my diet and exercise and then have a bad day at work or a sick child etc and I don't just fall off the wagon, I LEAP off and eat all the things. Even if I'm not hungry and what I'm eating doesn't taste that good, I…
  • Hopefully someone steps up, it would be a great group to have running to support folks :-)
  • I have a really hard time with emotional eating and would love a place to chat with people with the same issues, is this board still active?
  • I have had a terrible food weekend after losing 4lbs, mostly because I caught viral pink eye from my son and then while rubbing the pink eye scratched my cornea. So, I've been one eyed and miserable and turning to food and I need to learn not to do that. Sigh. Tomorrow is another day right?
  • I'm so sorry about your dog, it is so hard to lose one :-( and seriously, it's ok to emotionally eat once in awhile, just don't beat yourself up about it and start fresh. I weighed in this morning and have lost 4lbs - woot! I feel like a rock star even if it's not that much weight. I have a Polar and I love it, my husband…
  • I've taken to weighing myself just twice a month because if the scale doesn't move fast enough I get totally discouraged and binge. Friday is my day (it's the 15th and the 30th) and even though I have been so good I'm already scared that the scale won't have moved.
  • I'm Miss Monsoon on GOMI.
  • I have a Polar as well, the FT60 and I really like it. I can't feel the chest strap at all and have been known to forget it and leave it on.
  • Feel free to add me, I am a dog lover too :-) We have a 5 year old shepherd/coonhound mix and a 1 year old golden.
  • I had no idea I could find the 30DS on youtube, maybe I'll check that out tonight. I typically either go to the gym at lunch or take a walk at night but once in awhile, like today, something interfered with lunch and I'm pulling single parent duty tonight as my husband is off with friends. And, on top of it, my lunch…
  • I'm in - I'd love to try to stay in track with the holidays approaching!
  • I'd love you to add me, I'm new here and looking for all the support I can get!
