How are you dealing with these feelings when your heart is into wanting to get healthy? Also, thank you for the add. I promise to be as truthful as possible with my food diary even when binges hit. :#

33... And not really sure how much I want to lose. I'm just cutting calories and weight training. I'd love to see some abs before crossing into the 40s category so that's a goal. I'm 5'5 1/2" currently 150 lbs. I'm thinking 135 but I'll see how I feel as I lose weight.

I know exactly how you feel. What is going on is that you are learning how to eat properly to fuel your body not just tossing things in mindlessly. It takes a little getting used to but with time it will all become more natural. And hunger won't equal results in your mind.

Very inspirational. Sometimes we get so caught up with that 'goal' that we forget that we are allowed to live our lives as we get there. Kudos to you and congrats on all of your hard work.

This thread is my lifeline every morning! Bumping to keep this one going!

- That your mind will constantly play tricks on you. I take the subway and I'll look at a seat between 2 people and gauge if I will even fit. Once I do sit, I'll notice that I'll easily have an inch of space on each side, like, What?! - That sometimes you have to be okay with being on this journey on your own. I secretly…

Funny you mention this... there was a story on what happens to the body after loading it with fatty foods and they say the blood actually thinckens and slows down for a little bit while your body is trying to process all the jink. Amazing how once we get rid of the crud we can tell when our bodies are off.

Originally being at 1200 per day (terrible I know) I would eat 1 cup of Cheerios with 1/2 sliced banana and fat-free milk as well as my customary cup o' joe with fat-free milk and 4 (gasp!) sugars. Now I still have my coffee but have an omelet made from egg beaters smart cups (60 calories, 12g of protein) with spinach…

THIS! Definitely this!

Cherry and grape tomatoes are out for me. I ate a salad once from Wendys and I bit into a cherry tomato that looked good from the outside but oozed something very unnatural from the inside. Ever since then I stay away from those... <shudder> <gag>

We share in this one... If I start my meal on one side, I need to chew each spoon/forkful on alternate sides until Im done. I always start with the right side and I damned well better end on the left.... I LOVE that I can share this with like-minded people! Thank you!

I've had them raw - too crunchy for me Steamed - pretty much the best way for me broiled - only if topped with something to add a little salt or taste (pepper flakes, panko, etc) stewed - which is my living nightmare

If I cook with onions I chop them large so I can just pick them out later. I will NOT bite into an onion either. (shudders)

THIS!!! You just made me realize I also have a thing with temp, didn't realize it. I can eat slightly mushy things if they are supposed to be cold (cottage cheese, though this is more chunky than mushy) I just keep adding to my list lol. Thanks!:flowerforyou:

Nothing wrong with any of us! We just know what we like.

THIS!!! I can only eat really firm sliced tomatoes in a sandwich. The second it pulls apart it's getting taken out IMMEDIATELY.

I have a fitness pal at work that feels the same exact way! I'm sure she will get a kick out of knowing she isn't the only one. Thanks for sharing! :flowerforyou:

This is just a workweek struggle. It's hard enough finding healthy and nutritious in NYC while keeping a positive balance on your bank account but you can't always get things made to order unless you 'pay extra'.

   I literally laughed out loud when I read this!

Love this! Thank you for sharing. This happens to me too when it comes to foods with sauces and non-sauce sides.

PM workouts for sure! I am NOT a morning person and I wake up with barely enough time to shower, dress, eat breakfast and sprint off for the bus to work. I prefer my sleep thank you very much. I also have 3 kids and a hubby to lavish attention on so I really don't have any time to myself until about 10pm. I pop my…

Hi! Is there a link to check out this awesome sounding diet? I 've gotten plenty of belly lbs to spare for sure.

Uggg! This is embarrassing but I'll say it any way. Bad: Just resumed working out after having my youngest. During warm-ups we had to do jumping jacks and although I tried with every fabric of my being, I couldn't stop the pee from escaping! Worse: And it gets worse... during a new fab abs class, we were on an inclined…

Hit that one on the NOSE! I'm appalled at the responses the OP is getting... and from WOMEN at that! Listen, if it bother's you enough to mention it, then it's obviously something thats important to you. And above all else, you deserve to have your feelings respected. Otherwise, you won't be happy being at home. Continue…

Completely off topic here... I don't know if your profile pic is a test of dirty minds, but if it is? I totally nailed the test! That is, if it's meant to test how dirty it is lol..

I like this! Minus the tapeworms.... (shudders). It's all very confusing but the simplest way to do it is to just be more aware of what you put into your body and try to get up and get moving. I know NOTHING about TDEE or BMR or XYZ, I just know that I need to eat 1200 calories a day (and try to keep all of those calories…
