I just use a box mix and the cupcakes are only 80 calories each before frosting :)

lol yeah I am wearing it and the green lights come on after it beeps three times, I even tried putting it in discovery mode like you do for syncing it with a phone...nothing worked! This is so frustrating because I really hate returning purchases especially ones made online :)
-
Yeah, I registered it and waited three hours for it to fully charge and I have followed the instructions for syncing them but the display keeps telling me that the armband is not found.

Obviously if you have done it in the past it is possible, and since you need to do it again it should be obvious that it is not a good way to go because you didn't keep it off!
-
It really did look solid! I was trying to physically remove the strap...thankfully I didn't :)
-
Ok never mind...I feel so stupid now lol. I didn't realize that it pops out and I was afraid of breaking it :)

That's another reason water consumption is so important, it is believed that hydration makes your skin have more elasticity and will help in retraction during weight loss :)

Kim Kardashian looks like she has two or three butts...that is not a figure I admire lol

Hahaha lochness monster that's a good one! I'm 5'8 but I don't think I can ever be 36-24-36 EVER!

The research I have done says it is better to do a workout shortly before you eat because the exercise boosts your metabolism and you are likely to not gain as much from eating if it is done after exercise.

The wii fit we have matches our digital scale exactly! I find Dr's scales to be off all the time, maybe because they get so much use they might not stay calibrated enough.

I personally am on the side of the fence that believes you should not eat them back otherwise what was the point in burning them off to begin with? I have been dieting and using MFP for 32 days and am down 18 lbs and never ate any of them back and it's working really well for me...my two cents :)
-
@kao708...be careful with depo I was on it for 4 1/2 years and it's what caused me to gain over 100 lbs!
-
Me too...I am almost 2 weeks late and I'm not sure if it is the change in diet/exercise or stress or a combo of all of them!
-
Thanks for all the opinions. I agree I like to look at other people's diaries for ideas but then it makes me feel bad seeing all the healthy diet foods and mine is full of carbs lol.

Well I'm sold! I just ordered myself an HRM thru Amazon.com...I got the BodyMedia FIt I hope it gets good results and is comfortable since it is supposed to be worn 23 hrs a day, which seems crazy but oh well :)
-
Wow! I thought you were going to say that MFP was being too generous with calories burned lol, your results makes me want to get an HRM even more than before. I was considering Body Media...which one did you buy?

If you want to eat the same meals as your husband and still diet and have left overs, I think all you would need is a food scale and/or measuring cups that you use before putting the cooked food on your plate which will greatly help you figure out the nutritional info for what you eat. Plus it will probably be cost…

Monterey Bay Peninsula here...so not So-Cal will Cen-Cal do??? lol

Buy a meter and check your Blood Glucose levels couple times a day to make sure you're in a good range...not only will you probably keep diabetes away but it will help you lose weight :)

Don't get me wrong, I believe everyone should definitely exercise to be healthy, I'm just addressing the part about eating back the calories burned from exercising. You definitely have to exercise, plus as an added bonus I find that light exercise helps relieve some of my hunger pain which is an added bonus to getting more…
-
If you eat back the calories you burned exercising...what is the point in exercising? It would be the same to just not exercise at all and consume 1200 calories.
-
There is a division here, half the people believe you should eat back your exercise calories, the other's say DO NOT eat them back. I have never eaten them back and still stay below my normal calorie intake and it is working really well for me  But that is just my two cents...

Most programs say it's best to weigh yourself once a week because there are numerous reasons why your weight will fluctuate. Also, seeing the weight fluctuate is incredibly bad for motivation! When you do weigh yourself, try to do it the same time and try to wear similar weight in clothes or nothing at all because clothes…

Amen!

I would put calories as the biggest one to watch followed by carbs, the rest do not seem to be as important.
-
I haven't really tried those, do you mind telling me the brand and how did it taste? I would love to do something like that and lose 1/2 - 1 lb a day!
-
I don't have a challenge for ya, but what did you to in order to lose all that weight in such a short time??? I need to lose a lot and would love the info!
-
I know what you mean, my hubby got me a bunch of See's candy for Valentine's Day...at 60 calories a piece I am only having 1 piece a day. The rest of the time, if I want something sweet I just have an Apple/Cinnamon rice cake only 50 calories and has a sweet flavor and it takes the edge off hunger :)

I eat spaghetti all the time and when it's cooked it fits pretty well in a measuring cup :)
