  • Actually, that post had a little truth to it, If you eat 5 to 6 small meals a day it will definitely speed up your metabolism. It has been proven and it is also the method used to for diabetics to control their blood sugar, which in turn, helps them keep their weight down and/or lose weight.
  • Here is my experience so far with Plexus Slim. I am in my first month of taking it and I have only lost 8 lbs. I was hoping for more like so many others have experienced, but I refuse to take the accelerator pills because even though I would love the extra energy I am sensitive to things interfering with my sleep. I am…
  • Thanks for the input! I have a friend who just started taking it and says that the energy it gives her is amazing, and she is dropping inches like crazy! I just wondered if anyone had any good results that last once they quit taking it too, or if they needed to keep taking it. As someone that has had chronic fatigue for…
  • Since this was bumped yesterday, I would like to hear from some of the people who were taking it to see how well they did and if they are still taking it. Before and after pics? Any negative side effects?
  • That's funny! I love the series and haven't finished the book yet...but the cow wasn't in the book lol
  • Thanks for sharing your story...I hope that I can reach my goal and continue to stay on a healthy path once I do!
  • Being able to shop for clothes in any store I want like I used to, horseback riding, and going to the beach everyday without fear of being harpooned
  • I would like to join too, I have a lot more than 100 lbs to lose but I have no idea how you join a group. Is there a place to join it, or do you just add everyone that is in it?
  • Well I would say that it is not likely water weight because water weight loss usually occurs when a person lowers their carbohydrate intake, which I have not done. Also, this can occur when you increase your activity levels, again which I have not done, Aside from not changing my diet (i.e. lowering carbs), I actually live…
  • Given that I am taking in over 2500 calories a day, and not exercising at all, and consistently losing everyday as opposed to gaining like I have been, I would say that it is the ketones since that is the only change in my routine. Rats and humans are very close in physiology, that is why most, if not all, research begins…
  • Well I lost another 2 lbs. since yesterday. I'm still not dieting or exercising, so it shouldn't be water weight. All my research showed that it is best to take pure Raspberry Ketones and avoid the supplements that contain anything else, such as white bean, green tea, etc. Perhaps that is why some people are not having a…
  • I just came across Dr. Oz's segment regarding Raspberry Ketones. I am usually very skeptical about supplements myself, and I did lots of research before purchasing and try them. I just bought some 3 days ago, and have lost 5 lbs in those 3 days. I decided to do it while not exercising at all or lowering my calories. In…
  • I feel like that EVERYDAY! BTW, I love your ticker :)
  • Bump...I'm curious too lol
  • I was supposed to reach my mini goal today but was off by 1 pound, so I am just adding it to my next goal next month.
  • I have an awesome husband he has never lost interest in me no matter how heavy I have been (and I have way over 100 lbs to lose)...but I know that as I am losing weight and starting to feel better about myself that will probably have a better effect!
  • I was on Depo for over 4 years and I gained over 100 lbs...the only upside was not having a period all that time :) Also it took a couple years of being off of it to get pregnant. I recommend finding another birth control unless those things won't bother you.
  • I have a BodyMedia Fit HRM and it says to wear it 23 hrs a day and I do, the only time I take it off is to shower because it isn't water proof. I LOVE it, it tells me how many calories I burn while awake and asleep, you definitely want to wear your HRM during any activity even housework makes your heart rate go up and burn…
  • My goal weight is 175 and I'm 5'8", but I have always had a lot of muscle and bigger bone structure (no it's not an excuse for being fat lol).
  • Well I can't speak for the science part of it but it's true for me! The last two weeks I haven't lost anything and I went from eating 1700 calories a day to 1000...so now I decided to kick the calories back up to 1700 and I'm starting to lose again...it doesn't make much sense but it seems to be right :)
  • All of them go up...carbs, fat, protein etc

  • Wow you look GREAT for 218!!! Keep up the good work :)
  • I would be surprised if it worked, but if it does I want one!
  • I would like to know any info with this topic too since my 16 yr old daughter has PCOS and weight problems.
  • I have a BodyMedia Fit which I wear 23 1/2 hours a day, I only take it off to shower. It say I burn about 2 calories every minute while resting and just watching tv...so the average would be around 120 calories an hour without any activity :)
  • There is one really important factor to consider when putting your faith into MFP for weight loss...you CANNOT trust the calories it says you have burned! I recently bought a BodyMedia Fit HRM and my ACTUAL calories burned are about 1/4 of what MFP tells me I have burned! That is a HUGE difference and something to consider…
  • You will lose it, you are just retaining water. If you take Midol it will help it has a mild diuretic in it I just had mine last week and still lost 2 lbs during it because of the Midol :)

  • I personally have never eaten any of my exercise calories back and have lost 22 pounds in the last 38 days. I find that people are right when they tell you to calorie cycle. Everyday eat a different amount of calories to keep your metabolism up, if you eat the same amount everyday your metabolism becomes used to it and you…
  • I loved that show and I still watch it even though it switched channels, but i don't like how the characters have changed so much. It doesn't even seem like the same show anymore :(
  • Did your friend use and HRM too or just go by MFPs calories? That makes a difference, I find MFP gives far too many calories and the HRMs are supposed to be very accurate.
