  • Not sure if others do this but I actually will subtract out my BMR for the amount of time I was excercising when calculating calories burned. SInce MFP already gives me that allotment I would be double counting that burn. And w/o an HRM I would be completley lost as the burn numbers from MFP are nothing but SWAG's.

  • This used to happen to me when I drank too much water too close to when I actually was going to run. I found that if I stayed hydrated and drank water at a slow steady pace during the day this wouldn't happen. Also, when the cramps come it helps to really control your breathing (long deep breaths) to get through them.
