Congrats on finishing the Spartan race! I heard that is pretty hardcore. My husband is signed up for one in November -- Spartan Beast. I'm just not there yet, lol! I had a similar experience last weekend when I finished my first 10K -- a year ago, I would've never imagined I could have done that. Congrats on your great…

Congratulations on such a wonderful successful journey! You are a true inspiration to many! I'm following you on Instagram now!

That is awesome! Congrats!

Breyer's makes a lactose free ice cream in vanilla and chocolate! Better than any of the soy/coconut/rice ice cream alternatives!! I've become a big fan of dark chocolate almond milk -- it's soooo delicious!! I try to cut out dairy for the most part because after a while, the suffering after indulging is just not worth it…

You're amazing! :flowerforyou:

1. Being active is a part of my life which is AMAZING! 2. I'm wearing shorts! I never wore shorts! 3. Telling a very fit guy in my spin class about our class being hard that night and his response was, "Whew! I'm glad you thought so, too!"

I go with overall moderation. It just works better for me. Anything that feels like a restriction on what I can eat... I will just go nuts! If there is something I am craving that I really want -- I'll have it and just plan out the rest of my day around it.

Wow! Congratulations! You are such an inspiration!! :flowerforyou:

LOL! I love this! I am guilty of eating the crumbs on the bottom of the tortilla chip bag because you can't really count it! Or just having one bite of this or one bite of that! I knew exactly why I wasn't losing those couple of weeks! LOL! But I got back on track real quick!

Amazing loss! Congrats! :flowerforyou:

Great job on the running! I am trying to get the hang of it as well! Keep it up!

My mom and dad would shake their head when I would ask for a measuring cup to measure out my rice but now, they have it handy for me when I come to visit. After a while -- people get used to it and those who don't, just ignore them.

Oh I love your story!

My week consists of: 2 spin classes(lasting an hour each), 1 hour of yoga, 30 minutes row machine combined with 30 minutes elliptical, 1-2 runs. The days vary but I try to get this in every week. I also have a FitBit so on my rest days -- I strive to get more steps than usual.

Keep up the great work! You have done an amazing job! :flowerforyou:

Congrats! Amazing job!

Yesterday I ran my longest run ever... 4.1 miles. It was killer but I was pretty proud of myself! I rewarded myself with a root beer float! LOL!

It's better to focus on those who will support you on your journey. My mom is like your mom. It makes you just want to gain weight in spite of them, you know? I realized I needed to lose weight for me -- not for anyone else. Even when I started losing weight -- my mom wouldn't be proud -- she'd just say, "well you wouldn't…

I had a high burn workout today and I've decided I deserve a root beer float! :drinker:

I always find myself going out for lunch instead of bringing it in! I really need to stop that. And yes -- the goodies people always bring to work are just too tempting! The weird thing is -- I hate making my own sandwiches and bringing them in for lunch but I find myself walking to Subway or Potbelly a lot! :indifferent:

Such an amazing post! Thanks for the great read! :flowerforyou:

Great job! Mud runs are rough!

I agree -- invest on something else other than a FitBit if your main exercise is cycling. I take a spin class and my FitBit doesn't log much during that hour. Have you thought about investing in a heart rate monitor with a GPS? That may be more of what would work for you. I wear my HRM during my class to track calorie…

I agree with the above. You have to be accountable for all of your choices. You can't just pat yourself on the back when you log your food for the days you are in the green and pretend the days you are in the red didn't happen. What's the point of logging if you're not going to be honest with yourself?

I like those yummy caprese on a stick... each toothpick has 1 grape/cherry tomato, 1 mozzarella ball and a basil leaf on it. I will crack some sea salt and black pepper on the top and drizzle it with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. YUM! :)

You are amazing! Great job!
