Amen! Sister. You sure do have a miracle! Miracles happen everyday but we don't always look for them. But when we live through them on a daily bases we have a lot to shout and praise God for!

Hi Sue, You've worked so hard to get to where you are now. That is a great feeling of accomplishment I'm sure. I've had a few mini platues but non long lasting so far. Special Ed makes me laugh. Though I think if John did that to me, I wouldn't be happy either. When you do thinks honestly you can feel good about yourself.…

I don't go by the higher amount because it tends to make me want to eat more and then I'd think I would have to exercise more and so on and so on. I stick with the set amount of calories, carbs., fat, protein, sodium and sugar.

I do go over it sometimes. But for me it is a guideline because I tend to crave sugar than salt, then sugar than salt! I have a lot of weight to loss and I found that if I keep my sugar and sodium close to the recommended amount I generally stay a lot lower on the calories and fat intake. So for me I like it, it works for…

My favorite snacks? When I shop I get a carton of strawberries, blueberries, grapes and then weigh them out and put in zip lock baggies for on the go and freeze half of them for frozen treats too. I also buy pretzels filled with peanut butter. 8 of them is a serving and it hits my hunger spot. What ever the snack, I just…

Another great blog Sue! I haven't really thought to much about looking at other women for how I might look when I get to my final weight goal. But I think I might start doing that now. LOL! I think it will be a great inspiration to know how I would look at the weight. Thanks for the tip. I'm glad you're doing…

Well...I had given up on loosing weight all together. You see, I have lost 100 lbs. two times before and gained it all back both times and then I lost 75 lbs. due to an illness. I was so disgusted with myself and told my doctor I was disgusted with myself. Now she has talked to me about losing weight before but at this…

Great post again! I know what you mean though. Some people DO think bad things about others and it's sad. My own brother & sister in law, a few years back, made a commit that when ever they saw a fat person they would make this crazy squeaking sound and laugh. At that time I was at my heaviest weight and they had no clue…

I use dry black beans too. Cook the beans first. Add fat free chicken broth, precooked ground turkey & 1 can of diced Italian tomatoes, season with salt, pepper. I put it over brown rice but you can use white. You can freeze this too for another meal.

We're having grilled Tilopia on our George Forman Grill with brown rice, steamed broccoli & freshly cut melon.

So happy for you. It is a good and healthy thing to reflect and celebrate on the small things each and everyday. I'm celebrating a few small things today: - I was able to get out and go for a nice paced walk today. They forecast rain today, but it didn't, so John & I packed a lunch and went to Seminole Lake Park. - John…

To Weight Watcher, I haven't hit any plateau's yet but I have started measuring my neck, arms, waist, hips & thighs. This way even if the scale doesn't move, I may have lost inches.
-
I haven't hit any plateaus of such yet. But I know their coming. Thank's for the post. I'm hoping I can plow right through like you are doing. We all have something to look forward to, mine is different than yours is, but we each have to push through, looking to our goal/Onederland.

So, I'm not the only one with a reality side and crazy side. There's more of you out there. LOL! That made me laugh cause that would be my way of thinking too! Face it, if we can't laugh at ourselves we're in trouble. And when we have friends that can make us laugh alllll the better. I say, "Smart thinking!" What ever gets…

Wow! There is a wealth of info. and encouragement and discovery here. I have come to enjoy reaching for my laptop at the end of the day to sit and read all or most of the post. I have learned, been encouraged mightily, discovered and have come to rest in knowing that I'm not alone in this. I am humbled and grateful for all…

When sat down and thought about "What does Onederland mean to me?" my mind went in several different directions. I am not a person who likes to go from point A to point B. I like to take the scenic routes and I like to stop to smell the roses along the way. So I think Onederland could deffinantely mean several different…
