  • No one said you had to follow the same plan as anyone else. What everyone appeared to be saying is that if it fits into their plan and keeps them on track to lose, then that's what they do. A few people have said they don't and no one has jumped them. Well, except for the one person who apparently didn't know the…
  • Just out of curiosity (because I don't have a dog in this fight), then what is the point of 'hitting your macros'? There seems to be a large group of people on here who constantly say they eat whatever they want, as long as it hits their macros. So, if macros aren't important, then what is the point? Because just like body…
  • Hmmm... all of the brands I've used including the loose leaf have always had caffeine....
  • *shrugs* That's your opinion. Not fact. And if she would rather have her 150 cal soda vs. a 342 cal coffee, for the purpose of weight loss, she can have her soda. ESPECIALLY if she doesn't really LIKE coffee. No point in being miserable. *Edited to finish sentence.
  • I prefer the term 'naughty'. Or evil. I'm only SLIGHTLY evil. But OP is definitely naughty tempting that neighbor and all. :smokin:
  • GREAT idea. Seriously. I was just saying the other day that since it had gotten cold I have not wanted my protein shakes and was trying to figure out an alternative to get it in and this sounds like it! Thanks!
  • Anything she wants to drink that fits her cals is a suitable replacement. I prefer coffee, but if she prefers soda then that is FINE.
  • It's official -- I love this thread! OHTHENOMZ!!!!!!!!!!!
  • And what's sad is I love Indian food so I should know this! LOL
  • YUM. Sriracha is so good. Our bottle is almost empty -- must buy new soon!
  • HA! That's even BETTER! Ooh! Or
  • Not to start anything here, but it's not necessary to go for wheat bread over white. At least not at SW. Their lowest calorie option bread is in fact white Italian. And if you like bacon, there is no reason to give it up since it is only 45 cals for 2 slices of theirs (which I would assume is thin). She could have had the…
  • Simple. Look her dead in the eye the next time she says anything or even bring it up yourself and say, "I don't want a husband. I want a sugar daddy. So unless your man is secretly rolling in gold coins and has gold bricks holding up his shelves, no worries." And walk away.
  • I wonder if you could cook with it. Like, put the yogurt/ranch mix on some chicken or something. Or even mixed in with steamed veggies. That just sounds so yummy to me right now!
  • By the standard that you should avoid gluten due to bloat, I guess that means you should also avoid broccoli or beans. Because I don't know about you, but those suckers bloat me up like a hot air balloon!
  • I'm no expert, but the protein shakes really do sound like a good fit for you. Maybe mixed with IF (intermittent fasting) since you seem to have a window in which you ARE hungry. I don't know which to suggest, though, as I make my own at home. I know there are pre-mades out there and from all the ones I've seen, Shakeology…
  • I just check the package or the website against what I'm having and scroll and check (you can click on the tiny 'nutritional info' to the side when going through database instead of adding it first) and add the correct one. And like another poster, the ones without astericks are correct.
  • Niiiiiiice! I bet that sucker was GOOD! But no way on EARTH I could finish it! LOL But like you, I've lost weight eating what I want in moderation. I just broke into a 'new' zone for me! No celebrating for a bit, but man, you gotta enjoy life! And since that's what you're doing, rock on!
  • I eat at maintenance 1 to 3 times a month for date nights and nights out. But my regular calorie limit is 1650. So... I'm already at a high level. But I'm doing this nice and slow so I'm pretty happy with it. I've lost a grand total of 52lbs.
  • *GRUMBLE GRUMBLE* That's actually my tummy... I want one... NOW! But for sure not KK... wonder if DD is still open... GAH! Probably not. Maybe tomorrow!
  • I don't get why so many people are saying, "It's not exercise so don't log it." I call BS. Anything that is out of your 'normal' daily activities I would log. Mostly because when you are running around for hours on end like that you may find yourself hungrier. Then instead of just eating something small like a 100 or 200…
  • You said it in your post -- high sodium. Water weight can fluctuate DRASTICALLY from day to day.
  • I have days like that. But for the most part, I feel much better. And it's the little things. And I've made a conscious effort to recognize those little NSV's. For example, it was a big deal to me the first time I went to a public restroom and I fit in the stall with no issues or feeling squished when I had been to that…
  • Well, your food diary isn't open so can't help you there and you didn't mention your workout so can't help you there. SO, what I can suggest is to weigh and measure ALL of your food to make sure you are eating what you think you're eating. And when you work out, get an HRM to track cals burned and not use the estimates on…
  • I'm with you. I have NO desire to look like Gumby. I realize there are women out there who are naturally thin and more power to them, but it isn't how my body is built and it isn't what I want to look like. I like hauling around my 35lb. toddler, I like working on home improvement projects and being able to lift just as…
  • Totally normal. Don't worry about weighing in at night -- you're just over complicating it and over thinking it. Weigh in either every day at the same time or every week on the same day at the same time and go on from there. I usually weigh in first thing in the AM, without clothes, right after the restroom.
  • ^^ Oh yes! For sure weigh them out -- a little goes a long way. If you decide to do them ON something, weigh them, put them in a bag and then crush them with a rolling pin or a can and sprinkle them on. I can't eat just one ounce, though -- I make 2oz. fit. LOL Edited for spelling. geez...

  • I would say pretty much any of them will fit in the good fats you are probably looking for. It all comes down to taste. I like almonds the most and then probably cashews and pecans. But I also like walnuts. All for different things! Not a huge fan of peanuts because I already eat PB. HA! Right now, Costco has these toasted…

  • I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
  • Just to give you an idea -- my parents live out in the country. Ironically, on a retired farm. They don't own but one old *kitten* cell phone that doesn't even get reception at their home. AND, they don't even own a computer. Yup, you read that right. LOL So, while I get what you're saying and it should apply to most, the…
