I'm going to make you feel better...I work out 3-4 days a week for 30-40 minutes. Don't feel bad about taking a day or two off!

I drink it straight! I never had to "get used to it", I think it's great!

Why don't you shoot for 125 and then go from there? I'm 5'3 with a GW of 145 (the chart at my fitness center says I'll still be overweight at 145) but I haven't been lower than that in the past 7 years. What do those charts know, anyway?! Besides, if I want to keep the D boobs I can't lose too much!

Every 8 oz of water counts as one glass, and 8 oz is equal to one measuring cup so it's easy to check whatever cup you are using.

I've had turtle burgers and conch fritters, both good. I like cottage cheese on top of my mashed potatoes. I've tried peanutbutter & mayo sandwich, and like someone else said, don't knock it till you try it. When I was a kid I ate mayo sandwiches and butter & sugar sandwiches.

How did I gain weight? Hmm lets see. No exercising for months on end. Eating biscuits and gravy, along with scrambled eggs and hash browns with the gravy over all of it for breakfast. Taking naps after a big meal of pasta. Ya know, things like that.

This was good for a laugh! Yes, we fart in front of each other. You wouldn't want me to blow up would you?

I'd go see your doctor. If you are eating too much protein, you could've damaged your kidneys. High protein or not, sounds like a trip to the doc is in order. Don't wait.

In KS it's pop. For those of you that say "Ya wanna Coke?", I'd say, "Hell no, I don't want a Coke, I want a Diet Mt Dew!"

So proud of you! I hope one day I can say I've been maintaining for years! Wow, 85 pounds, WTG!!

I did Medifast for a couple months. I lost 12 pounds in 6 weeks, which is no faster than if I was watching what I ate & exercising. I do think it is healthy, since you get all your daily nutrition from the food. It was easy (grab & go). I spent about $265 per month on it. You have to watch it, they send you the next…

I did my first 5k in April. Trust me, there will be people walking the whole thing. I didn't sign up for one a year ago when a friend asked me to do it with her because I knew I couldn't jog the whole thing. I thought I would be embarassed if I had to walk. Stupid. Nobody cares, nobody even notices. Do it, so you don't…

How long does it take my body to go into "starvation mode"? Is it that detrimental to have a 1,000 calorie day now & then?
-
Eww, no! A man with six pack abs and nice arms will get alot more looks than a guy who's all bulked up like that.

Yes

Try a Leslie Sansone walking video, they are great for beginners!

Sounds good to me! I am 5'3, my goal weight is 140-145.

I take a ham sandwich (on a thin bun, a little mayo, lettuce & tomato if I have it) along with an orange & a yogurt. On my "lazy days" I take a Lean Cusine along with my yogurt & orange.

My breakfasts are: 3 turkey sausage links with one over easy egg. If I'm really hungry I add 10 tater tots. 100/70/160 calories Turkey sausage/egg/cheese on an English muffin (not homemade-just pop in the microwave), with a glass of vanilla almond milk. 260/90 calories.

The LS DVD's are great! You can put as much effort into them as you feel like, so they can be a really good workout. Be careful with your form on the kicks, I have had a sore back after doing the dvd a couple times. As long as I don't kick too high I'm ok. My cousin lost 70 pounds doing nothing but LS videos, so YOU CAN DO…

When I have trouble getting my calories, I eat a couple tablespoons of peanutbutter and/or drink juice.

One of my biggest pet peeves is hearing people pronounce across with a T on the end, "acrosst".

The doctors should be able to tell if you have an obstruction from regular X-Rays. A CT does give more information, and considering your lap band history, it might not be a bad idea. I would try Fleet's phosphosoda (to drink) and a Fleet's enema as well. I had an impaction years ago, didn't go for 6 days...so I feel your…
