I had mine in for about a year on two separate occasions in my life. I took them out a couple days and that was it. Over with. I'm sure it varies person to person. Now I want to get it re-done !!

Hahaha.. holy jeez... whatever it is, I sure don't want it. MFP won't kill me. Mystery treatments from Mexico might.

Pretty much the same thing it means to you. I don't ever have a day where I just say "Screw it" and completely eat absolutely whatever I want. There are still some meals i just won't eat anymore, ever again. My favorite meal is the chicken pasta at Ruby Tuesdays and that dish is like 1400 calories. Even halfing it would…

Never seen this before.. awesome article, thanks!! That's funny.. I wasn't quite that bad, but I was close. I was always so confused as to why i couldn't lose weight when I felt like I never ate. Now I eat several meals a day and I feel like I'm always eating.. and have overall lost almost 30lbs since. I wish more people…

800 calories a day sounds like a crash diet. And from what I understand those suck and don't work. Up your calories to 1200 a day, earn exercise calories, and then eat all those too. Otherwise you're just gonna burn your body out and get nowhere.

YUP! After maybe 5 months of ab ripper X, I can finally ALMOST do all the moves!! Those side crunches, man, I'm still working on getting straight legs but at least I can do the move. Fifer scissors? Finally not a problem. You know it's a good work out if it takes months to even be able to do the whole darn thing.

I'm doing a pretty good job getting mine to show through and you know what? I still eat sugary foods. I just eat less of them and I work them into my allotted calories. I eat at least one or two sugary treats a day. I'm not giving up the things I love. Honestly I think eating less calories and fat overall has really helped…

It means I really wish people would learn how to use the Search feature for the message boards. It's actually a really good feature.

Ha! I love to sweat, I love the pain, I love feeling sore the day after, I love the feeling of my muscles after a work out, I love the endorphins after the work out. I love improving my stamina, my speed, my strength, the shape of my body. I love pushing myself. I'm totally addicted to working out. But I also found what…

UGH I gain like 3-4 lbs when i start. Even knowing it will go away, it still depresses me =(

Haha amen. And you know what? I took a peek at some of the crazy ingredients in all those foods. The honest to god truth is I just don't care. My body is a tank and I've done a lot worse to it. It can handle a fast food burger every couple months. I know it's frustrating to hear somebody say they simply do not care,…

But I LIKE a little mayo on my sandwhich! When I make sandwhiches at home I put 1/2 TBS and it adds a couple calories, but not too many and it makes the sandwhich good to me. So I just don't eat Subway. I pack my own sammiches. Oh lord, I've watched them put gigantic globs of mayo on a sandwhich and watch the person ask…

Agreed. I still love Wendy's but I haven't had it in several months. Sometime, after a good day of working out, I'm going to get myself a Wendy's single with everything on it.

Thanks to MFP I've eaten fast food maybe twice in the last three months! I used to eat it several days a week and I have NO idea how. I had Taco Bell a couple weekends ago and it was so gross. I thought I was "treating" myself to it, but it was an awful treat haha. I don't even eat Subway because I can't control the amount…

Good advice. I'm thinking about starting Insanity soon. So how do you like it? Is there any strengthening involved or is it straight up cardio? I'm almonst done with P90X, but not sure if I want to do another round or not. I'm so pleased with the results. Does Insanity help maintain P90X results?

Beastin it!! You're my hero.

That doesn't sound like too much to me, but maybe it's just right for you. I think a person should aim to work out to the point where they feel somewhat sore the next day or so. If I'm not sore the next day, I feel like I didn't do enough. Just safely push yourself everytime and you'll know when you need to rest your…

I'm the same way! I just think of myself as obsessive though, because I maintain a healthy weight and I eat a lot. I just like to WATCH what I eat and make sure I don't over my calorie limit most days of the week. If people think I'm crazy, I don't care =)

Woah.. I don't think I could ever give up potatoes! I once roasted a head of garlic in the oven (wrap in tin foil and throw it there for awhile) and mixed that in. Fresh roasted garlic is amazing!

I've tried so many different things, but the simplest recipe has so far been the best. I simply season them with salt and pepper, I'll brush them with a tiny bit of butter with dill sprinkled in, wrap them in tin foil, and place a couple slices of lemon over them. The lemon does wonders. Substitute the butter if you like!…

I think you're looking at this the wrong way. You lost weight and you're maintaining it! That's an awesome accomplishment! It isn't exactly where you want to be, but isn't it better than where you used to be? So you need to do some tweaking to get over the plateau. You'll figure it out in time. You shuold be proud of…

Gotta love the internet. I changed my headlights and fixed a circuit board in my TV thanks to youtube vidoes!

I wish I had a before pic. Me in my icon is the end result of P90X which has you do an ab workout three times a week for 15 minutes each. I couldn't believe how effective that little 15 minutes is. It doesn't seem like it would be a long time, but it feels like forever! It works all parts of the stomach. My lower abs are…

Are you in the military?? Anyway, agreed!

I go over sometimes, sometimes I don't. Deli meats are rough... but cheap eatin, you know?? And an easy lunch to pack for work. I've been trying to perfect the art. Today I made a 240 calorie sandwich for lunch with 873 mg of sodium. Two slices of Pepperidge 40 cal/piece super thin bread: 80 cal one wedge of laughing cow,…

OH my goodness, is that a corgi??

Wow, you had some nice tummy definition in the first photo too! Fantastic improvement! Isn't sculpting our bodies fun?

I would taste it out of curiosity, but I don't think it sounds gross. This chick I work with eats mayo and banana sandwiches. THAT sounds absolutely disgusting, but apparently it's a thing?
