I'm 5'9. My SW was 181 (beginning of May 2013), CW 166 and GW is somewhere between 140 - 150. That's a big range, but I haven't been below 160 for 15 years, and I have to gauge when I get there. I'm pretty happy in my healthy weight range now, and look fine, but am a faster runner and feel a little better in the lower 150s.

Should be called "beer handles" for me. I quit drinking beer, which was painful, but it helps significantly. Still drinking alcohol, but trying to stick to wine or vodka/ sodas. I'm 5'9 and my size seems to change very slowly. At 180, I'm a 12 or 14. At 170, I'm a 12. At 160, I'm starting to get into 10s. I think I have wider hips, which keeps me in bigger pants:) So hard to say what is right for you. I'm trying to make it to a size 6, but really I will stop before then if I feel lean.
