I make a big pot of steel cut oats and pre-portion into freezer bags. I nuke a bag when I get home and add a little skim milk, berries, and nuts. Takes just a little longer than cereal (my other go to) and then I'm off to sleep.

Hello there! I am a new RN, working to lose the 15 lbs gained in nursing school + the 15 leftover baby weight that is now 10 years overdue. Working at a Level 1 ED 7p-7a and surprised that I don't move more. Using my Fitbit to make sure I'm steppin!

I say do what you gotta do to get where you wanna be. Not sure that I agree with your methods, but if you can sustain your health and losses, go for it. Good luck!

Bigtime chocoholic here. Ashamed to say that I am capable of downing a box of Godiva. I have tricked myself into believing that I only like "good chocolate" , i.e., dark and $$$. That way I buy just a bar (Vosges is my new fave), savor it when I get it and enjoy slowly. Then I leave it alone!

That's me...ER nurse here too and I just switched to nights. Really having a hard time adjusting and the switch is wearing on my body. Tired all the time even when I'm not at work. My schedule is nearly the same except I pick up kids at 3:30. Working on my 0430 M&M habit now.
