I have NMTZ and yoga meltdown...the yoga was tough, but NMTZ is an *kitten* kicker lol. I definitely recommend both :) and thanks for the suggestion of circuit training, I was thinking I'd put it under that, but wasn't positive.
-
LOL! agreed
-
Oh and another thing about positioning is if you're considering having children in the future--I've seen some pretty nasty looking stretched out tats on women post pregnancy (or really stupid ones--pink script "*kitten* you" across a pregnant womans stomach smh)
-
hmmm according to that calculation I'm under eating by roughly 200 calories after removing 20%....oh well it's working for me lol

I agree with some previous posts. I have 3, but I designed one myself. Live with the idea for a couple of months to be sure it's what you want. Also think about placement because visible tattoos can be an issue in the workplace. Oh and cost...depending on how large and colorful you want it. My first tattoo took 2 sittings…

Yay for barefoot exercise lol, but thats not plausible in many situations. I would think it's that your shoes don't fit. It seems like they might be too long and arent tight enough to not slide up and down on your heel. Do you have to buy wide shoes? I used to end up with shoes that were too long just to get shoes that…

You're very welcome, you deserve it :) My dad is computer illiterate beyond freecell lol. Just today he had to get me to type and send and email for him lol. Althought the amount of time I spend asking my dad questions about things on here (he's always lifted weights and is a nurse) he might as well be part of this. When I…

Yum! I remember making something like that when I was little...never thought about it as a low cal option. Thanks :)

Don't get me wrong, I like having boobs to an extent. I used to be a C cup and after my weight gain I made it up to a DD. I've already made it back down to a D and I can't wait to get back into the C range lol. Big boobs are overrated (and annoying) and I know there are plenty of women with ones larger than me (yikes! lol).

Lol! I'm always amazed by the suggestions, they're never even close.

I'm 5'11 or 6' (depends on who's measuring lol) and I've heard it too. I've also had some amusement seeing shock on people's faces when I tell them my weight. Yes I'm tall, but who cares if I 'carry it well'..I still need to lose the weight! I love seeing tall girls band together lol :) love u all
-
Lmao! This is such an awesome way to look at weight loss! :) thank you
-
Like some of you have already said--I'm *happily* surprised by the growth of this group (thanks Dee). I've made part one of my goal: lost the weight from the extended vacation with my brother for mardi gras and the beach and I'm finally down more than when I left for nola :) My dad has been home this week which has been a…

I'm so with you--thanks to the people on here and my wonderful parents I've learned so much and have gotten rediculously excited about getting healthy and losing weight. Everytime I see someone succeed it feels so good to know that those people are supporting me and I may have played (a small) role in their success. Thanks…

I'm quite in love with this site lol, I think you'll find it to be very helpful and motivating--I've learned a ton of stuff and some topics have prompted me to do my own research. Good luck and (anyone) feel free to add me :)
-
Yep, same here too, if I don't add it to that night I'll add it to the next day (especially because it tends to be after midnight). And like several people said, I try to wait untill I'm about to go to bed to close it out.
-
I'd love to lose the weight I gained back during my brother's spring break and make it to 200 min of exercise. Last week I tried for 250, but I didn't quite make it. Thanks for doing this, it's so very helpful.
-
I'm back :) and jumping into this week a little late, but I'm going for 250 min of exercise. I'm up to 100 min so far, but I need to jumpstart back into working out and eating well (which has gone surprisingly well so far lol).
-
I made my exercise goal, but i'm betting I didn't lose weight. Then again it's a new week and in a few days mardi gras will be over so it'll be much easier to eat and work out when I'm not in someone elses apartment with a ton of people lol :)

Jessyas - Incorporate strength training into my workouts in order to build more muscle while I'm burning the calories, keep learning new recipes and cooking for myself, get down to 133lbs or less! atrayubrandy - to lose 7lbs, drink 64oz of water a day, cut down on sugar, and quit diet soda. I also want to build lean muscle…

I honestly got goosebumps...weird lol. I'm super proud of you. I giggled when I read how you threw away the cookies and brownies in front of her and I feel annoyed and indignant when I read about how she's treating you. It's so fantastic that you know what you want and why--this is a lifestyle change and not something that…
-
That's great, good luck with everything :) I have just recently gotten the pleasure of fitting back into a only bra (d cup) and I was able to pull my jeans off without undoing the button. lol yay for small changes :)
-
I think you can measure the area that you want to as long as you're consistent, I measure where my belly button is just so i have a good guide lol
-
Oh yeah, 3 week cycles here too, I'm just waiting for my body to readjust to what I'm doing and hope it'll go back to 4 weeks lol.
-
I've just started following this site--the crunches and the push ups--and my abs (and chest) are currently a bit sore lol, but in a good way :) http://www.twohundredsitups.com/index.html They also suggest doing a mon wed fri routine.
-
Just to check in: since Monday I've lost 3 lbs (I wanted at least 1), and I've done 174 minutes of exercise (wanted 150). So thanks to MissDee for starting this (and the one next week) and congrats to eveyone who's accomplished their weekly goal :) See you on next weeks challenge..Woot! lol :)
-
I just looked at the hundredpushups site and I'm so in, I'm definitely going to follow that and see where I can get to. Thanks :)
-
Definitely doing this again, I've met both of my goals as well and since I'm going to visit my brother in new orleans from about the 3rd to the 13th I'll need some motivation lol. 150 minutes of exercise and lose at least 1 lb :) Oh, and missdee, I'm very proud that you passed the 100 minute point for this week, great job!

Agreed, I only cook vegetarian and the majority of recipes I use are from eating well.com. A quick list of recent faves: Indian mango dal, Asian Slaw with Tofu & Shiitake Mushrooms, Grilled Tofu with a Mediterranean Chopped Salad. Also, I'm madly in love with quinoa and tofu lol :) hope that helps.

I definitely look around at other people's food diaries. Mine has been open since i started and although some days I have more than others I'm usually pretty good :) I have gotten a few comments the past couple of days about not eating enough--but that's because I've been sick and just haven't wanted to eat all that much.…
