This is a good plan. Exactly how I started. Six week trial and I've stayed almost two years now. I also find if I keep my breakfast low this helps me keep nonfast days low.

Of course not. Welcome!

You are exactly right! Way to go! Girl power!!! And you are totally amazing, we all know it. Thanks for being there flumi!

Welcome back @chiccam! So turns out I had major 'bloatage'! I have had two mini fasts in a row around 1000cals each and that has brought me 4 lbs down. Feel much, much better and a bit more in control. Currently at 170 and would love to see the 150's by my birthday (even if it is 159 ;) ) 11 lbs in 19 weeks, so it should…

Wow @flumi_f things sound so great, enjoy! TIME TO PEEL MYSELF OFF THE FLOOR!!! So I really went off the rails, no fasting no tracking :s Result 6lbsup :s :'( New week new start! Yesterday managed to track everything and ended under maintenance. Easy does it for me, but I know I will get back there again. One thing I did…

Hey, so glad to read you posts. I have been away too long. I received stressful news last week and I have been comfort eating a bit to much. The house we have been living in for the last five years is being sold and we will have to move on. Not sure exactly when or where. I think that is the bulk of what is stressing me;…

Ditto!! I have been there too. My husband is notorious for that! Nice, but when my goal is different it can be sabotaging. I have been terrible with procrastination lately. I will do better when....(just fill in the blank as necessary :|) Last month I was down 1.4 lbs and the last two weeks I have maintained. My numbers…

Oh @flumi_f I'm so happy for you! Have fun and enjoy yourself! I have been waking up each morning and pretending they are fast days. Monday and Tuesday I made in at the 500 mark and yesterday I was still pretending and made it to the 1300 mark. It has helped me stay on track. 2lbs down with my last weigh-in and hoping to…

HEE HEE!!! :D

Fast day completed yesterday, hooray. Today another success by nailing my maintenance calories. Big salad for lunch. Really yummy. Little bit of seeds on top...not too many because the calories in those really add up. Been really good with weighing my food and its helped keep me in control.

Great work @Flumi! And take care with your scar correction, hope it goes well. Sounds like you have a good week ahead of you. First week and I'm down 2lbs (now 170.2). Very active week, but blew way over budget on Saturday (leftover Christmas chocolates and cookies). Today was not too bad, stayed below 1600cals. Next week…

Hooray!! I finally did an official workout! The video I've had for years. Helped me burn an extra 200cals today. And boy do my abs need work. Couldn't do the scissor exercise like I used to :'( This week has been all about getting back in control. I've been able to log everything and have kept all my numbers really low,…

Great job, fantastic work!!

Thanks so much guys :)

Yesterday's fast didn't go so well :( Ended at 1087cals (836cals with exercise). But it was a good low calorie day. Will try again on Wednesday. Today I started with two Weetabix and tea. Had a brisk walk for about a mile and had a skinny tiramisu latte. Total so far just over 400cals. Lunch looks like a chicken bagel…

Mama and Flossy Amazing Work! And Flumi, you always inspire me :) As for me I am currently down 7lbs. I have been at it for over a year I know I'm a bit of a slug but happy to be down not up.

First fast day of 2016 for me and official day back at tracking everything. So far so good, two teas and at 60 cals. I nearly went off track when my food scale needed batteries (any excuse right), but I preserved and after several attempts of flipping the batteries around got it to work and I was up and running again.…

Wow! I really loved reading everyone's posts. 2015:. Struggled last year. I had many successful fasts coupled by too many indulgent days. Emotionally trying year as well. With family guilt getting the better of me (aging mom and dad with sisters taking care of them and me in London not able to help). Just feeling bad for…

HA! My kids are eating kale soup as we speak/ type! It is actually pretty good when boil it (long) and make a soup with it her her, but I know what you mean! I will definitely be making a great game plan for the new year. My sentiments exactly

Cheers Orlcam! Totally going to take your advice. Tried to fast today no breakfast, good...grilled cheese and Oreos for lunch, bad! All eyes on the New year!!!

Hey guys! I haven't had a good sit down with my computer in a few weeks. I'm on here less ever since I turned in my thesis. Things could be better... Ever since the two birthdays for my hubby and son happened early this month I have really struggled. No proper fasts (only have made my fast 500 number when I minus my…

If I am at home I tend to have tea with sugar and milk (twice...keep adding hot water) before dinner (30cals each). Then I have either chicken rice with peas or chicken pasta with peas (more peas than anything). On special fast days I treat myself with a venti skinny iced vanilla or Carmel Americano 25 cals, to sip…

Nice to see you @Foamroller! Sound like you doing really well :) Well said indeed. It's a total mind game with me. Constant dialogs and struggle in my head. "It's winter, I'm under a big coat I don't need to loose weight right now :| ". But then comes the guilt. Then this weird and slightly worrying thought enters my head…

It was my first time trying it. I put a bit of milk, tiny butter and chesse :# It seemed a bit watery, but the site did say if you cook it too long then it can get watery. With practice I am sure I can do better. I was both tasty and filling.
-
Thanks Orlcam! It has been a major struggle, but I am seeing the end of it. Hurray!!
-
This is my first attend of cauliflower mashed 'potatoes'. Very tasty carb sub. This dish with broccoli and spicy tomato chicken is all under 500cal and I could have save 100cals if I left out the Mozzarella. Really filling too.

Sounds great @Flumi_f. I think planning meals for non-fast days is really key. Last week was a real struggle for me. I only managed one fast day (that hasn't happened for months!) and my emotions are a bit frayed. Sometimes things don't turn out the way you hoped, but I have had to adapt and grow from it. However not…

Good job to you too! And do you know how incredibly young you look in your photo OMG, Looking good! Managed my fast day yesterday, but today I gave into the grilled cheese and USA sweets (smarties and runts :p ). But I do have to say that my waist appears to look smaller. No love handles on the sides and when I sit, my…

Of course I don't mind :) My masters was in photography and my PhD thesis is about ethical practices of photojournalists in the UK, digital manipulation etc... I was fun I got to talk to a bunch of photojournalists about what they do all day. I have been writing the thesis forever, but it is finally coming to a close.

I am all about tea or coffee until dinner time and then I spend all my calories :p If I wake my tummy up then I'm in trouble.
