I give a 5 lb window, knowing my weight fluctuates 2 lbs just from a heavy sweat session and 4 lbs from my TOM.

Hot damn!

If you have the means, you should go see someone. A psychologist or a nutritionist with experience treating EDs. You might be a healthy weight, but the long term dieting seems to have set of some ED thinking, and you'd be well served to get swift professional treatment NOW while you're healthy, you recognize the problem,…

Thank you for sharing. Keep your head up.

Check back with your dr. about the hernia. Telling an 18yr old to avoid lifting for the rest of his life just sounds stupid. Hernias are not that serious, and they are super treatable if they recur. So just go get the okay to lift if that's something you want to do.

You're probably already in good shape. What people see as a difference after completing an exercise program is going from being out of shape to being in shape. If you're already in shape -- no big difference. Sorry. Keep with it though, because there will be a difference if you give up, stop working out, and get out of…

Meh. Active kids can eat loads of crap is be perfectly healthy. My mom fed me healthy food growing up, and I ended up chubby but always hungry with an eating disorder by 12 and a pattern of disordered eating that persisted into adulthood. My nieces and nephews grew up on McDonalds and pizza but they have six packs, do P90X…

I am hungriest in the morning, and could easily eat 3 bowls of cereal. Nothing wrong with it really, unless it means you eat all your calories in the morning and go hungry the rest of the day (hence waking up with a ravenous appetite and repeating the whole thing). If it's a problem; I'd suggest just eating one bowl, then…

With the current standards of US education, that would be an accident.

Urine doesn't count.

I train 2 hours a day for boxing because I like the sport, and I'm accidentally ripped... just saying.

Sounds like depression / chronic fatigue. 1. If you don't have a regular exercise routine, get one. 2. drink **** loads of coffee and plenty of water. 3. I know your bloodwork is fine, but consider becoming a pescatarian (a low protein veg diet makes your blood sugar swing like crazy effecting mood and energy levels.
-
Actually-- you can get ripped by accident if you're really into a sport and you train for performance and incidentally get ripped.

300 calories is plenty for a normal (non-healthified) desert. Small slice (think half slice) of cake with a coffee, a chocolate chip cookie, a scoop of ice cream in a pretty ice cream dish with berries or peaches.

I have a tendency to buy my clothes too small because I like everything very fitted. Now, if I have a doubt about whether something is too small or just fitted, I will ask a sales girl for an opinion, and remind myself that I can always get something taken in in the spots that seem to loose, but I can't do anything about a…

Same way you lose the stupidity caused by wearing a tight hat.

BTW. To the person who said above 10 cal per minute is not sustainable-- that's just dead wrong. That's a pretty average steady state cardio burn for jogging for an average weight woman. A man or a heavier or more muscular woman is going to burn more simply jogging, and that's without pushing it.
-
You have to be pretty fit to accomplish a 800 - 1000 calorie burn. As in, you have to be able to run about 10 miles or do something requiring equivalent conditioning. If you're not there yet, be prepared to spend the entire day hiking or cycling at a lower intensity, or do 2 more intense workouts ( both an am and a pm run,…

My guess is you're not as active as you think. Double the effort / duration of your workouts, and you should see a change in body composition. Eating "pretty healthy" and being "pretty active," just don't cut it.

PMS?

Load of crap trying to flatter you into buying their cloths.

You can also eat brown rice like oatmeal: with milk, fruit, and cinnamon, it's pretty darn tasty.

This drove me nuts for years. Now I just look at my weight as a 5 lb range rather than a fixed point, and I make my goal a range rather than a fixed point. When the highest point on my range goes down, I know I'm losing weight, when the highest point goes up, I know I'm gaining weight.

Get an accu-measure tape measurer: about 3 bucks on Amazon. The end clips in in such a way to prevent you from pulling it too tight. For measuring you waist: your waist is the smallest part of your torso between your belly button and your ribs. If you're sort of straight up and down, and you can't find your waist, then…

It's really not that hard. Try a full pilates class twice a week for a few months. Once you build up the strength, 30 once a week (or a few minutes every other day) is sufficient to maintain the ab strength that will give a person with low body fat a nice flat tummy.

It's basically frosting.

I have found exercise to be the best treatment of my depression (persistent since childhood). The more / harder I work out, the better improved my mood is overall. I would never give it up. Even on days when my fatigue is really bad, if I just push myself to start a workout, I always feel better afterwards. Depression is…

I actually love your current hair on you. It looks great.
