Ummm Not any random internet stranger, but there are definitely people on this site I would trust over most "nutritionists", which is a title any bonehead can give themselves...

I gotcha. Streaming/data usage always confuses me. I've thought the same thing about paying for my favorite mixes to be stored. Everyone at my gym makes fun of Fit Radio, but I agree that it's wonderful!!

It will work if you stick to it, but it would be cheaper, more flexible, and more palatable to just prepare and pre-portion your own food. If you don't want to worry about counting you can look up meal plans and such online. A little preparation goes a long way and you won't have to worry about obsessing over every little…

Lmao I put my plate or whatever on the scale and zero it out, then spray on the whipped cream and it will tell you how many grams of whipped cream you used. If it reads 25 grams then just log .25 of 100 grams. They account for the air so weighing the can before/after is not accurate.

I have that bb.com sticky bookmarked and didn't even realize it was your post. Great info!! Even though I've owned a kitchen scale for years and weigh most of my food, I only recently started weighing my whey and was surprised to find out a "scoop" is often up to 33% more than what the label states.

There is no deck; it's called life. It sounds like you made good choices so I'm not sure why you're complaining. Would you rather have eaten all the junk? Pat yourself on the back and don't dwell on it. ETA I agree it's incredibly frustrating when you specifically order something to fit within your goals and they screw it…

Nope I eat out all the time.

That is awesome!

I'm also 5'5" and my bodyfat is 23%. My goal is 19-20% if that helps. Most women are happy in that range or a little higher (if you're getting it tested properly that is, online calculators are basically worthless imo).

Spending an hour on the elliptical sounds absolutely mind-numbing.

Hahahahahahahahaha Maybe that stuff would work out better for me

My advice: You'll start seeing results when you stop looking at it as being "on" or "off" your health kick. You don't create good habits by abandoning them at every slip-up. If working out is something you plan on doing long-term, you'll do it whether you ate at your calorie goal or way over it. And vice versa If you plan…

This has happened to me if I drink strong brewed green tea on an empty stomach. Cut it with some water.

No

Sometimes I make frittatas and keep them in the fridge. Just pop a slice in the micro in the morning and it's soo yummy and very fast (since you get up so early). I just mix a few eggs, egg beaters, some milk and whatever toppings I want then bake it. Super easy to control the calories/macros depending on what you put in…

This thread is fascinating.

Sure, not if I lived off leaves, but she's making the claim that if you exercise and avoid processed foods then there is no need to count calories, and that is simply not true. If that does work it's on an off chance and therefore should not be recommended as a weight loss strategy.

I work out 1-3 hours a day most days out of the week, yet I’m 100% confident that if my strategy was simply to eat salmon, raw nuts, sweet potato, avocado, tomatoes, fruit, etc. only until my “body tells me to stop”, I would be grossly overweight.

Try Vega One. It's good and appears to meet your criteria. Good luck!
