The only way I can handle the monotony of the elliptical is with intervals. That way I only have to focus on it for 1-3 minutes (depending on the length of the interval) and then I can zone out for a bit on the rest intervals. I'll go for it. I'm setting a 75 mile goal since this is my first month doing this and I don't know how consistently I'll be cycling. It'll all be indoors on a stationary bike because it's Houston and it's HOT.

I'm in. I had a lazy second half of July and all of August (with the exception of 75 minutes of competitive volleyball yesterday) thanks to an injury so it's time for me to take some initiative.

Took a break from running and decided to get some fresh air and sun today by skateboarding and then longboarding down some hills. Then in the evening I took a quick two mile walk with my mother. We usually walk farther but it was already pretty dark and our neighborhood is noticeably lacking in streetlights.
