Don't buy much! I bought way too much and now I don't know when I'll ever use it up. I ate quite a few SF jello snack packs during my preop diet, but that was about it besides the required protein shakes. I am 2 weeks post op, and I mostly eat cream soup ( 1 can lasts me about 4 days), and protein shakes. I buy Premier…

Are you getting your protein in? I didn't really see anything in your menu that was high in protein and that is key. Its probably wise for you to continue protein shakes in addition to other liquids, and the protein will help you feel full. I am 2 weeks post op and I still drink 2 protein shakes a day (when I can get them…

Welcome! I was sleeved on 9/22 so we're at about the same point. I do have to do the pureed portion of the diet, but even that I am looking forward to just for a change of consistency! My advice is to consistently log your food, and check the boards everyday. Reading what other people are going through and knowing that I…

I am 5'7 and my BMI was right at 40 before beginning the liquid diet. I am 2 weeks post op and I have lost 28 lbs so far, 18 of which were post op. Unfortunately, I am already experiencing a stall; 4 days of fluctuating up and down a couple lbs. I think this is because I haven't been very good about getting all my protein…

Thanks everyone! I'm not so worried about getting calories, I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something! Once I started getting in liquids other than water, I realized that no one ever told me if I should be trying to hit a calorie mark this early on, only what I should hit long term. I've only been focusing on…

My concern is more for your health at this point since you are eating solids at only 2 weeks post op. We are put on a strict, gradual diet for a reason. Are you meeting your protein and fluid goals? You said you aren't hungry, but if you still desire to eat, you may need to up your protein. I would also suggest you not…

I'm 6 days post op sleeve and I started on day 3. The only discomfort I experienced was a slight increase in bloating, but honestly, it was almost unnoticeable because everything was already so swollen anyways.

Congrats! I am 6 days post op sleeve. The first 3 days were the worst, and I honestly questioned what I had done. By day 4 I was a new person and felt great! Just know that the beginning is just the beginning and you will continue to get better each and every day. You will do great!

The first 3 days were the worst for me; I also had buyers remorse! But 6 days out now and I feel amazing! Good luck on your new journey!

I am 6 days post op, and exactly what Mangopickle said! My doc had me on a clear liquid diet for the first 4-7 days, but I adjusted quickly, so only did 4 days. Day 5 I moved on to full liquids. I bought the Premier Protein premixed shakes and they are amazing. She's so right, one takes me nearly all day to finish! I also…

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I am scheduled for surgery Sept. 22 and so excited!

I am astounded by the number of incredibly rude people on this post. She never said she BELIEVED what they said, so clearly its not a self-esteem issue. She's simply saying she felt odd about it and was asking if anyone else ever has. For those of you that haven't, then you really don't have room to say anything. There are…

I began using MFP on June 3. I watch my calories and start every morning looking at success stories for motivation. In 10 days I've unofficially (as Saturdays are my weigh in days) lost 9 lbs! However, its not just calorie counting. I also began the 30 day challenge for some strength training.
