I'm 5'4" and currently 210 lbs. I am down from 237 on May 14. Up until this point, I've lost everything with just calorie reduction but my doctor has prescribed me a medication to help with weight loss that I just started this week. It's called Belviq. I would love to make some new friends on here, if anyone is interested…

Following!

I found that it was actually way more food than I was used to eating.

Planning. Don't leave yourself in a position where unhealthy empty calories are your only option.

I think it's all relative. 140 to 120 will be a very noticeable difference. My 237 to 219? Not so much

I cut my lawn in shorts with zero chaffing lol Also, I'm wearing jeans today that I haven't fit into in about 3-4 years.

Right, I have been trusting my MFP goal, but I'm asking about how to adjust it accurately with a new fitness plan in place. I have not been working out for the month and a half that I've been tracking so far.

I have quite a bit to lose. I don't think you're quite understanding my question. 2 lbs/week is a drop in the bucket for me right now. I'm not trying to undercut to make it go faster. I'm trying to make sure that I'm eating in a healthy way without undereating or overeating.

I haven't been struggling at all with the 1200 calories. I was just surprised to see it differ by over 1000 calories/day.

I'm currently 5'4" and weigh 220 as of yesterday morning. I'm down from 237 when I started tracking on May 15. I'd like to lose as fast as possible while staying healthy (so 2 lbs/week).

I am logging everything I eat and tracking honestly (I only drink water). I'm just trying to figure out what exactly my calorie goal should be...

House Targaryen, please! :) Second choice would be House Lannister

My go-to lunch has been a few hardboiled eggs, some cherry tomatoes, some baby carrots, a little ranch...maybe a fruit cup if I'm still hungry.

Congratulations!! This is awesome!!

Honestly? I started taking medication for my anxiety and depression. I had always tried before but became unmotivated within a couple days. This time, it's been about a month and I'm down 14 lbs. Still have about 70 more to go, but it's a start!
