I got unfat eating everything within a two to four hour window at night. So, YMMV. Do what works, just figure out how many calories you need to limit yourself to for weight loss, count the calorie content of everything you eat, and stick to that number. Doesn't matter when you eat them or how you space them out.

Eat less food.

Yep, I plan out my day in the morning or the night before, stick typical weight ranges in there for things like fruit, cheese, nuts, etc., and adjust if needed as I go along.

Totally depends on the individual. I lost my belly fat rapidly, but my mom, for example, has very stubborn belly fat. You'll just have to lose weight and find out what's going to happen for you.

It's really not that cold. Not that much snow. It just rains a lot, and sometimes the temperature (30-50F) combined with rain and wind can make things pretty miserable. It's joggable with some weatherproof jogging clothes.

Tracking every single bite of food that went into my mouth. I weigh everything in grams, and put it into my diary as such. I also exercise so I can eat more food while still losing weight.

1. Eat plenty of vegetables every day. Loads. As much as you can handle. Make sure you have a wide variety of them, because different vegetables have different vitamins, minerals, etc. Dark leafy greens are especially rich in nutrients. 2. Eat a bit of fruit every day too. IMO, they taste better than vegetables, and they…

I ate 3500 calories of carbs and salt yesterday and "gained" four pounds overnight. Mathematically speaking, I should only have gained 0.25 pounds. So the remaining 3.75 pounds must be water. I imagine you are in the same boat.

I switched to an e-cig a bit over a year ago with zero effort required on my part. I'm still addicted to nicotine, but eh. No lung problems.

I haven't had any problems doing it.

I'm logging, but I don't really care how many I eat. I did the same thing on Thanksgiving - logged all 3400 calories.

I have had the surgery. I lost weight prior to having it, and I gained weight a couple of years afterwards. They got huge again, but after getting the weight back off, they are only slightly larger than the original outcome of the surgery. So be aware that if you gain weight, they will end up bigger again. I'm fine with…

I'm surprised I was never asked. I carried most of my weight in my boobs and belly, I definitely looked pregnant at my heaviest.

My goal was 132.5, and I hit that yesterday. I guess 132 would be good!

You look fine. Your friends are probably a bit envious. Even if they aren't, and are just genuinely concerned, keep in mind that a lot of people have a skewed perception of what a healthy weight really is. My BMI is 22, and people tell me that I'm skinny. I'm not skinny, I am, theoretically, completely average. But most…

When you stop losing weight or it becomes unbearably slow.

Yeah, I don't hide the fact that I was depressed as hell and ate and drank away my feelings. It's in my about me on my profile page. I don't know why anyone would gloss over a serious issue they had when they gained weight, because there needs to be hope out there for people in those situations now. HOWEVER, a lot of times…

I just eat what I'm craving.

1. You really have no idea what a proper portion is. Measure it. 2. You will be hungry sometimes, because you didn't plan very well and you ate too many calorie dense things that aren't satiating. Or you're just hungry that day. 3. Sometimes you'll do everything right and you still don't lose weight that week. 4. Weight…

Many people say "first on, last off." If your belly is the first place you gained fat (as it is for many people), it could very well be the last place you lose it. Just keep up the hard work and you'll start to see some loss around your belly as well.

Continue to lower body fat percentage and build a few pounds of muscle. I'm almost done with my initial fat loss, so I'll probably bulk for a couple months, cut for a couple months, etc for 2014.

For weight loss, the results will be the same. For body composition (fat and muscle content), the results will drastically differ, particularly if you incorporate strength training. Strength training will help you maintain the muscle mass you already have, helping more of your weight loss come from fat than if you did not…

Well, on the 5 days you are not fasting, you eat at or close to your maintenance intake. The amount of food I had the night before usually carries me well into the next afternoon as far as energy goes.

Well, I hit my end of year goal already! Guess I was being too conservative. I'm now at 135 lb (well, up to 135.2 this morning, normal fluctations). Blows my mind. I just KNOW I have to have a stall soon, it's a long time coming. So once again setting a conservative goal of 132.5 pounds. 130 lb would be amazing and…
