  • I hear you on the "kids" thing, OP. I just had my 41st birthday a few weeks ago but am still in denial that I'm not in my 30s anymore!
  • Hi, SGJ86! And hello my friend, crazeedeysi. : ) So today I started "Burn It Up" since I didn't have time to do the 47min workout yesterday morning. It was a hard upgrade from "Start It Up" -- but I finished it without passing out. And I remembered that I actually really enjoy the band work. Finally working on my arms is…
  • I love Si6! I just re-started it yesterday after not doing it for year(s). But, boy does it work. I used it about 10 years ago and lost 80lbs when combining it with diet and running. Of course here I am again trying to lose those same 80lbs again.... Help me, Debbie! : ) I might friend y'all who are doing it right now too.
  • I want to friend everyone in this thread. I mean, I've been trying but facts are facts: nonfat frozen yogurt (even chocolate fro yo) is no replacement for Turkey Hill's fudge ripple. Or Ben & Jerry's mint chocolate cookie. Etc etc etc. Humor is the only thing that can help me through my painful ice cream withdrawal.
  • Ugh, I can so relate to your situation! That said, the best advice I ever got about trying to eat healthy (especially as a binge eater) was to EAT. THE. NEXT. MEAL. That's it. The fastest way to get back on track after a binge is to eat your next, healthy meal as if the binge didn't happen. Sure you'll be over your…
  • I was just coming on here to ask the same question! Only difference is that I'm campground camping ("cheating") and only have adults to feed. : ) Love the suggestions here so far, but I live in a fire-prone area and am going to a national park so I'm not sure campfires will be allowed. Any cold meal suggestions? I'll have…

  • Hi all! One of my MFP goals is to finally do a sprint tri. I signed up and trained for one almost ten years ago then chickened out at the last minute when I worried that my training had slacked off too much for me to finish. Now I'm ready to think about it again -- but first my goal is to do a few 5Ks over the next few…
  • I've been on different antidepressants for about 20 years. Right now I'm on a combo of Lamictal and Wellbutrin, with Sonata and Adderall as needed. I have no idea how Lamictal has affected my weight since I've only been on it for 4-5 months. Wellbutrin's been my mainstay and I've both gained and lost significant amounts of…
  • Hello, fab ladies! I've been skimming posts here and on a few other groups I've joined, looking for the courage to speak up. And here you all are -- inspiring me to post. I'm 40 years young (41 at the end of this month), single, and mom only to my super snuggly dog. I'm currently pursuing an advanced degree far away from…
