  • Sometimes I get wacky readings like that too. My polar will tell me the average and highest that my hr got. I'm 34, 5'8 and 155. My average last night was 163 and my highest was 190. I was doing HIIT, so intervals. I wouldn't worry about it, but make sure you girly ourself properly before and after your meals.
  • I'm not sure what you're eating, but maybe you need to add more protein to your diet. If you're stomach is growling at 1550, you may have filled up with things that you think are "healthy" and may be low in calories, but have little nutritional value. I focus more on my macronutrients than my calories.
  • Okay, so the only thing that could be a potential downfall of seltzer is that it can bloat you. I just think of this for me when I am going to be wearing something form fitting or a bathing suit. Other than that, it's fine.
  • It really depends. 130 sounds pretty small for a person who is 5'7. I'm 5'9 and I weigh 157. I do lift weights and have a fair amount of muscle too. I think your goal of 150 sounds healthy. You know yourself the best. Don't let other people who don't have to live in your skin 24/7 tell you otherwise.
  • It's always a good thing to switch it up. I love HIIT! But I would make sure that you at least eat 1200 calories. I was under yesterday (try as I may to eat enough) and MFP wouldn't even post my daily log! Crazy. You're doing a great job! congrats!
  • I have just started to count macros and this is extremely helpful. Quick question: What if you don't hit all of your macros? Is this the end of the world? I know a lot of this is trial and error, but this is difficult!
