I would love it if we can support each other. I have had diabetes for the past 15 years and despite the education and warnings haven't really taken it that seriously, except while pregnant. I really want to make some changes this time, so I'm putting it out there for everyone to see. I'd love to help support you too!

I have the same problem. I will start eating something and I'm saying inside my head, "I really shouldn't be doing this", but I do anyway. The key is to not beat yourself up. Every day is a new day. No one is perfect. But, it is easier to binge eat if the foods that set you off are in the house. I'm hoping that being on…

I've been to a few diabetes education courses over the years....last year was the most recent. I'm not missing the coffee....yet. I do have some tea, but milk instead of cream. I tried putting milk in the coffee...yuck!

I came across a great recipe on Facebook for stuffed peppers....basically a taco filling stuffed inside a red pepper. I have been taking Metformin for years and years. I have had this problem ever since I became diabetic. However, I've noticed in the past couple of weeks now that my blood sugars are under control that it has virtually gone away.

I'm on more than 1200 calories, but here are some snack ideas... One snack I like that gives me a lot of protein is 1% cottage cheese with some fresh or frozen berries. I can definitely see a change! I agree with someone else who wrote that a change is a good way to get over a plateau. Also, did you do any other measurements like waist, hips, bust. Even arms, thighs, etc. I bet that even if you hit a weight plateau you'll keep seeing changes in other measurements that might not be as easy…
