Thank you all.. Yeah.. I guess the weight that i gained the next day was probably due to water .. I tried eating quite late last night (within my daily calorie) and when I weigh the next day, it was still fine :) .. Thanks again for the advise..

My daily intake is usually around 1200kcal as well (with or without workout) .. ahaa!! that's what I thought too.. but if I take something heavy like rice, i think my weight increase the next day ... but then again maybe it's due to water retention caused by other things as well... hmm need to monitor further :) .. Thanks :)
